Slumdog Millionaire Review

WOW!!! Is the first thing that comes to mind.  This movie deserved all of the awards it won and some.  It really opened my eyes to the world we live in and made me appreciate what I have.  Although it is a dramatization, I believe there is a lot of reality in this movie.  Almost too much in some parts.  Slum Dog Millionaire is very violent and disturbing in some parts, but it is worth sitting through those parts and watching between my fingers to experience this movie.  I was not prepared for the emotions I would feel while watching it.  I fell in love with the characters.  I was told that the movie was subtitled, which it is, in parts.  The majority of the movie is in English so I was able to watch and listen for the most part.  One thing I appreciate about the awards shows is discovering gems like this.  I would not have known about this independent film had I not watched the awards shows.
