The first time my friend introduced me to the Slingbox, I was blown away.  We were out at dinner with a group of friends and it happened to be during March Madness. The conversation was getting dull, so he pulled out his phone and loaded up the Slingbox client and BAM, we were watching the NCAA Tourney live!!  Right in the palm of his hand. So I picked up one myself and haven't looked back. Being able to watch your cable shows and even recorded shows is a game changer. As a sports fanatic, I can't tell you how many times this has saved me. While we're running errands with my family, we inevitably take longer than we thought, but it's ok now, because I can just pull up the game on my phone. The hardware is so simple.  You just plug in any video input (RCA cable or coax) and plug in the ethernet cable and you're done.  Download the client on your computer or phone and you're streaming your content in no time.  Obviously, this is the original model so it doesn't support HD or the web streaming on the sling website.  But I am able to have two input signals which the newer ones don't have. If you need to have easy access to sports or your shows when you're on the go, then this is must-have item for you.  You won't regret it.
