SELCET COMFORT COMPANY ARE LIARS------THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS, WE WENT TO RETURN OUR BED AND THEY TOLD US THAT WE COULD ONLY RETURN THE MATTRESS AND THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO KEEP THE FOUNDATION AND PAY $2200.00 FOR IT. THEY SAID WE SIGNED A FORM SAY THAT WE UNDERSTOOD THE POLICY BUT THEY MISLED US. THE SALESWOMAN TOLD US THAT WE COULD RETURN EVERYTHING AND JUST PAY THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING. Absolutely horrible, one side didnt stay inflated and very uncomfortable

My new Sleep Numbers bed is so great!  My back pain is almost completly gone and I am getting the best nights sleep ever! My husband is amazed because he did not want to purchase one at first and now he keeps saying, "I love that bed."  We got the king size pillow top. I only wish that we had got this bed years ago.

I would tell my friends not to buy one it is waste of money.Iis over rated.

I cannot say how wonderful this  bed is! The Sleep Number bed drastically changed my sleep.  With my previous mattress I was not sleeping well at all. My old mattress was a new (about 18mo) mattress that was expensive.  It started to sag and get a hump in the middle almost immediately.  After zero customer service, my husband I had had enough.  We went to the Sleep Number store and bought one that day. Within 3 days my shoulder and hip pain were gone.  I felt like a new person!

Because my partner and i have seperate sleep numbers at the opposite sdes of the scale, it felt like if I rolloed over i was climing a mountain.  likewise, i felt at any time, my partner would slide off the mountain and squish me.  Now if we had a comparable level then it would have been fine.  I do think that it was the most comfortable mattress i have ever been on and would have kept it if it weren't for the mountain issue.  I have heard that this could be remedied by putting some foam at the base of the lower side (under the air chamber) but i didn't try that so I can't speak to that.

I am 44yrs. old and I have slept on many a number of beds in 44yrs. From a crib matteress to a water bed and your standard with box spring. I like my mattress medium firm and that is what you get when you buy a new standard mattress with box spring. But over the years the mattress starts to give. you get up in the morning and you can see exactly where you laid and the form / shape of your body. My husband and I bought one of these about 7 years ago in an effort to help me with my back and hip issues. I had tried conventional mattresses and waveless waterbeds with the same result -- pain in my back & neck and hips and legs that felt like they were falling asleep. I never slept well. I watched them put this bed together on QVC years ago and laughed at the silly concept. I have serious back problems and am in constant pain, trying to get some sleep is very important for me. The Sleep Number bed is the best thing that I have ever slept on.  I use to have back pain and stiffness in the mornings.  But with this wonderful bed, I do not wake up stiff and sore. The bed is a little pricey, but the comfort is well worth it.  The bed will last a lot longer than the standard mattress. I like the fact that you can adjust the firmness of the bed.  Most of the time it is set at the same number.  My number is a "85."  But sometimes I like it to be firmer or softer, so with the simple touch of a button on the remote,  I can adjust the bed up or down.  I used to wake up many...
