Sleep Number Bed - Select Comfort Review

Unfortunatly i have to believe that any good reviews out there are done by people paid to do so.  I Purchased my Sleep Number Bed about 4 years ago and still have'nt had a good night on it yet, and now things are starting to break and the company does'nt care.  They will pay for part of it, but not all of it.  The digital reader broke months ago, so now we cant tell what number our chambers are at.  They dont sell just a new remote, no no of course not! You have to buys a new remote that is attatched to a new air pump!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!? Well, that would run me about $230!! After my warranty still covers 68%!  And The seam on the whole side has pulled apart and frayed and a new cover would cost me $115.   Hmmmmmm......if i'm only paying 32%  then when you start figuring numbers there's no way they made money off of my mattress or anyone else's if the parts are really that expensive! GEE, do they know it will break so soon?

Anyway, i didnt order the new parts obviously! I already threw $1500 down the tube when i purchased the bed.

Oh, i didnt even mention how i'm actually sleeping worse on the sleep number than on my old bed!! I had mild back pain before we bought the bed and was tired a lot.  From the way the bed is advertised i KNEW it would help me. NOPE, i have chronic and severe back pain now FROM the bed! I'm tossing and turning so much because my back hurts that i didnt know what tired was before! If you recall from before my digital readout died on the handset so i have no idea what number our chambers are on, but even if i did i still havent figured out my sleep number 4 years later cause from 0 to 100 is all just bad!

ok, so to wrap up.....about a year ago my sister in law wants a new bed and asks about ours. My breathe caught for a second, praying to God no one else would waste their money on this junk and told her its a terrible bed and to maybe look at a tempur pedic!  I had told her before all the trouble we had had.

What does she do? she goes right out and buys not just your average Sleep number, but the $4000!!!!!!! OH MY! Yeah they hate the bed. Neither her or her husband have slept well on it and her back pain is worse than before to!

Positive: It's lightweight, you dont feel your partner move with the 2 air chambers, umm...yeah that's it!
