We purchased the bed because my husband has a bad back that has required surgery. We needed something that would help him. With that being said, we purchased the Sleep Number bed at a great expense to us. At first, the bed was wonderful. During the 30 day trial period, everything was wonderful. And then about 6 months later, it had a "rut" in the center of the bed. Now, to give the bed it's credit... my husband and I like to snuggle when we sleep. This bed is NOT made for people who like to snuggle in the middle of the bed. It is made for people who like their own side of the bed and do not want anyone close to them. We have had the bed now for 1 year. The frame, which is made of a durable plastic, has bowed... even though the manufacture states it wouldn't. The bed will deflate or inflate whenever it chooses (usually deflating). The bed slides every night requiring me to reshift the mattress toward the top of the bed-frame.
If I had to do it all over again, I would most definitely NOT purchase this bed again. It was a waste of $2600.00 money.
