I had the privilege of trying out a Sleep Number Bed while staying at a nice Hotel in St Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota. We were surprised they had two queen sized Sleep Number beds in the room. At first we played around with all the numbers, trying to get see what it was like. There were two of us to a bed and there was only one controller. I think the main problem was trying to find a happy medium between the two with just one controller. If one side was too high, you just rolled down onto the other person. If the number was too low, you touched the bottom of the bed and fell into a hole and the other person fell into the hole with you. We didn't sleep much because all night long we were trying to find a comfortable level for both. The whooshing and whirling of the air going in and out was really all I remember about the bed. I guess they are very expensive and for the money, I'd probably stick with a good old fashion mattress and box springs.
