Bed sinks, bed can look sunk in

I bought my bed in 2002. The first two years everything was fine with the bed, then I noticed the trenching of the mattress. I tried to re-inflate, adjust the chambers and nothing changed. I now have major back problems from this bed. There is no customer service with this company. I would not recommend this bed to my enemy.

I too have the same problem as well as one of the chambers loosing pressure on a DAILY basis. I went on line to review the warranty and am so disappointed that I have to pay on a pro rated basis is I want any resolution. If only I had known these problems would arise when I bought the bed; I wouldn't have spent my money.

Warranty sucks on these select comfort beds. I wish I had read the fine print before I got mine. I had problems same as you. What a crock. Bladders, compressor, fittings... everything is junk.

well heck thats not a warranty if you have to replace the parts! I would rather not have one in that case. I have a Serta double pillow tp that has a 30 year warranty on it and it is 10 years old and still good as new. I was wanting something easier on my back, but it won't be a Select Comfort! Ron

I was informed when I called tthe company today that it is a "PRO-RATED" warranty. I bought my bed Nov. 25, '05. Top of the line, pillow top, dual control etc.. It is sunken in the middle and visibly lower where the upper part of your body lays. I weigh 135 pounds and my sleep partner is 165. Because it is 2 chambers, I was told I had to pay $50.00 shipping x 2, $100. for the shipping alone and then I have to pay for the parts AND repair it myself. So with my bad back (the reason I bought the darn thing) I have to get on the floor and replace chambers. I had to pay to rush the parts as this is the only bed in my house. I said that I wasn't happy and gave them an opportunity to maybe upgrade my shipping to overnight and I will pay for 2 day, no dice. I even told the gentleman that I would write a negative review and he said "go ahead, we have good reviews too." I think the majorityof the good reviews, may be from people that have had their bed for less then 2 years. If I would have written a review before owning this bed for 2 years, I would have been saying good things about it. My advice? Look elsewhere for a bed!

I thought they had a 20 year limited warranty?
