It was suggested to get a size larger than the bed you have, thats what I got. The queen pad fit my full bed exactly right out of the box! It was hard to put the sheet back on the bed, it was pretty tight! Now that Ive used it for a few weeks, the pad has expanded and hangs over the edges. So, I personally dont suggest buying larger. Just deal with the pad being a bit too small. You dont sleep at the edges of the bed anyway. I got the pad for my cramping upper back. This is the best thing for anyone that has a bad back or just has trouble sleeping. One other main selling point is the fact that you can save yourself from buying an expensive mattress, this is more comfortable than most new $1000 beds.
