My Trip to Sleep City...

First, I have to share that Sleep City was recommended to me by two different people. I had put the word out that I was mattress shopping and was immediately told to check out this place. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!! I was bound and determined to get a bed today after miserably tolerating an inflatable, insta-bed mattress for over 7 days. So during my lunch break... I hopped in a cab heading straight for Sleep City. I walked in the door and was kindly greeted by a lady named Karen. I informed her that I was referred to the store by friends. She thoughtfully asked about my specific mattress preferences... price range, firm or soft, what size, etc. Next, she lead me to several beds and told me to go ahead and test them out. After about 6 or 7 different mattresses, I found my winner!! A Simmons Beauty Rest Pillow Top with a 10 year warranty. Ah! Dreamy! Especially compared to that blasted blow up bed. 

Now for the shining moment. Drum roll please... Karen's brother who also works at Sleep City says to me, "We can deliver it to you today and it's free. We'll even set it up for you." Music to my ears! Especially considering the fact that there was about 8 inches of snow outside and it was 12:30pm on a Friday. I was literally in and out of the store in 20 minutes. I managed to find a perfect mattress within my budget range in about an hour (this includes transportation time too!) To be fair, I live less than 2 miles away from Sleep City.

My new bed was delivered AND set up for me by 3:30pm today. Now that's what I call customer service. Plus, the delivery men were kind and friendly! They were mindful to cautiously avoid knocking into things and even brushed off their snowy boots before entering my building.

My mattress mission was accomplished in record time and I'll be sleeping like a baby tonight! Who wouldn't be pleased? Bravo, Sleep City! You earned each and every star here on Viewpoints :) I just couldn't give all five stars because they only carry Simmons brand mattresses. This factor really limits people who have other brands in mind.

Special Note: Sleep City can only provide same-day delivery when they have your selection in stock. Luckily, they do seem to have lots of inventory there on site so your chances are pretty darn good.
