About the Skyway Sigma 2 25" Vertical Expandable Packing Case Luggage
My son had a four day trip planned and suddenly hated our usual luggage. We looked around and found this piece for a good price and bought the powder blue one although the black, copper, and taupe were all nice looking. I wasn't expecting much for the price but this is a quality piece of luggage and I will add to the pieces now that I see how durable this is.
This case is a vertical one with either a carry handle or a pull up plastic handle to roll the case along. It is made of water and tear resistant polyester fabric. It has "Zero Gravity construction" which I learned meant that the frame was much lighter than traditional bags but also much stronger. It's true. This bag is much lighter then the one I have of the same size. There are two large pockets on the outside of the case and the inside is pretty much open space with a big plastic pocket on the inside part of the lid for containing small items. The case expands like crazy. You can really get a LOT of stuff in there without straining the zippers or fabric. They say it will expand about 3.5 inches but we expanded it far more with no issues. The zippers are smooth and never snag and the whole thing, even packed to the hilt, is still lighter than anything I own.
The fabric resists stains, water damage, and tears. It's is very durable. My son has since used this bag to go camping and it came back in the same condition as it left which was a shock. I like that the pull out handle hides inside the case and is covered with fabric. If you want to use it, you just pull it up and go. Otherwise, it is out of the way. I am extremely pleased with this bag and will be buying some more Skyway bags now that I know how great this one is.
My Viewpoint
This bag is awesome. It's much lighter than usual bags of its size and holds a ton of stuff. It is quality made from zippers to handles and it is just the right size for short trips. I can't give it anything but 5 stars. If only they made this bag in purple!
