Skype is perfect for anyone going to other country's where its hard to find a phone and if you do it costs an arm and a leg to use it, foreign phones also tend to be grainy and have a lot of lag. Also when your loved ones who are in the military are overseas for long periods of time its nice to be able to see them. My dad has served in the military for over 25 years and is gone a lot so when this first came out we started using it immediately and i have also used it quite a bit to talk to my girlfriend who goes to college halfway across the country.
