I hated the earbuds that came with my 3rd Generation iPod Nano. They were round and hard and too big for my ears. The salesperson at Best Buy turned me onto the Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds. I liked that they came in a ton of colors and had three different sizes of rubber inserts to fit all sizes of ears.
They are really comfortable in my ears and drown out outside noise. Even while working out, they don't fall out. I am on my second set of Ink'd earbuds. Mine lasted a little over a year and I listen to my iPod constantly. That's not all that bad. They aren't high-priced.
When these things need to be replaced, there's not much warning. They go down fast. With other earphones, usually the music cuts out in one ear or another when you move the cord when they need to be replaced. With these, I thought my iPod was broken, because the music got slow, like when a record (remember those?) was on too slow a speed.
I am 100% happy with these.
