For the short time I had these headphones, I fell in love with them, and Skullcandy as a brand. Sound Quality The sound quality was pretty good, regarding the mid-range and treble, but if you turned up the bass too loud, the bass quality went to crap, and so did everything else. Great sounding quality for bass music, and heavy metal. Also great for gaming, because you can hear every tiny detail of a sound. Great at cancelling noise. Comfort Mainly a matter of personal preference, I found these headphones to be very comfortable, mainly because the articulating earcups adjusted to my large head. Design I really do like the design. I think the folding design was genius, but really ahead of its time, because it very much compromised the durability of the headphones. Durability Really, this was the only thing I was disappointed about at the time. The articulating earcups are usually associated with DJing, as it makes it easy and comfortable to monitor and cue/drop in new songs. I could see these headphones being marketed to young DJs like myself, but the flimsy plastic headband was an incredible turn-off to me, as well as the small, flimsy, cords, that happened to not be able to be replaced. On my first set of these headphones, one of the cords got ripped out of the driver completely. The headphones were practically unusable, as only one driver worked. On my second set, the wire became loose, so all you could hear out of the left side of the headphones was the bass. Believe me, it did not sound good.

The SkullCandy SkullCrushers are definitely one of the top headphones availaible on the market. The bass in the phones are deep and sound amazing with most types of music, especially hip hop and pop. What I also like about them is the sound when listening to movies. The subwoofer that is built into each phone brings out many aspects of the movies i watched. I suppose the bass made the movie more intense. Although the Headphones are great any many areas, I sometime develop headaches after using for too long of a time, and the bands that wrap around the head are tight and fragile. The heavy bass and tight bands around my head contribute to a slight discomfort and the bands seem like they would easily break, but i would say the pros outweigh the cons. Another great aspect to the headphones is the noise cancellation. The phones cancel the perfect amount of noise from your surroundings, (not too much/not too little). Even when not playing music, the Skullcrushers can be used gain some peace and quiet. The Skullcandy Skullcrushers have a couple of problems, but overall are an amazing piece of equipment.

I bought these headphones for my son for christmas- when you put them on without any sound going through them it actually deadens the surrounding sounds. When they are being used by someone other than yourself, and you look at the headphones, you can actually see the vibration. The sound is crisp and clean with no feedback or static whatsoever.

These top of the class odf headphones, glossy, and comfortable headphones are amazing. They deliver great sound quality though some people complain that the sound comes through one ear then after a couple minutes it goes through the other. This has never happened to me and I'm sure skull candy will fix that. These headphones are a bit pricey but they do offer what most headphones don't. They have a very comfortable feel. Actually so comfortable once I fell asleep with them and I wasn't even playing music. The sound quality is amazing and it can go so loud that it will blow your ears off. Not only that but the looks are just amazing. It's like love at first sight but with headphones. These looks will certainly make all of your friends jealous. So just to recap, these headphones have great sound quality, amazing design, and are comfy. Also, they are a bit pricey but offer many great features.

I bought a pair of these a while ago and was super impressed right away. The sound is amazing and I love the feeling of base. With a switch to turn them up or down I was able to find just the right amount of base. The price of these headphones is a little pricey, but for over the ear headphones they really aren't that bad. The life time guarantee is an added bonus and I quickly found that I needed to use it. Not long after having them the sound went completely flat. There was no base at all and it was just flat music. I sent them in and was given credit for them and chose the same pair again. They came and about a week into using them the same exact thing happened. I again sent them in and was given credit and got the same ones again. The worst part of this is how long it takes. It wasn't a 2 week thing it was over a month before I received a new pair and to top it off they didn't even give me enough money to pay for the shipping. I really like these headphones but they keep breaking on me and I should not have to pay for the shipping.

I've had my skull crushers for 2 months now, and i'm quite happy with them, the quality is great for the price, the comfort is nice too, the sound can max out nicely and the sound quality is superb when playing games, while listening to music you can easily notice a lot more then if you were listening on desktop speakers or the like, so if you're looking for something better sounding and more relaxed feeling then your in-ear buds i'd say this is the way to go if you can afford it! I give this product 4 stars! Remember music is life, so enjoy it in quality and style.

They're awesome if you love bass. There is A LOT of bass in these things. Though I find myself listening to them too long with the bass up too high and getting a head ache. The only downside I can find is that they are really tight on my head and I can't tolerate wearing them for a long period of time. Though other than that, these head phones are amazing. It's like having a car's sound system in your head phones. I actually ended up tweaking my iTunes settings to provide more bass in the songs. These are my second pair of Skullcandy brand head phones. My first pair of DJ grade head phones. It really makes me want to envest in some of the more expensive ones, because at the price you get these at, it's a really good deal. You geat a GREAT pair of head phones for a low price (concidering the price of the Beats.) It's all around great for gaming and great for music. I don't see myself needing any other head phones any time soon.

I was weary when I purchased these headphones because of the price but I wouldn't trade them for anything!   No matter what kind of electronic device I am using them with, be it my ipod, stereo, or computer, they have great sound.  It makes it as though you are in a concert.  Even if you don't have it that loud, the quality of the sound coming through the speakers is outstanding.
