I bought these headphones a few years ago, to replace a pair of Sony's that I'd had for what seemed like FOREVER. I admit - I was mostly attracted to the skull design and didn't pay attention to reviews because they were cute. Yes...sometimes my girlness wins out. So, these sound alright. Not bassy enough for me. It's nice that they don't crackle when I crank my iPod. They're very comfortable. They double as a headband. They seem to be durable (but I'm really careful with all of my belongings, so I'm sure if someone sat or stomped on them they'd break). I've had headphones that sound better. These are a good, basic headphone though. Audiophiles beware - you'll hate these.

I bought these headphones over two years ago, and they still haven't broken, music still sounds great, and peopel still ask me where I got them and for how much. I absolutely adore them. Heh, not to mention they look as good as the day I got them. When I got my iphone, I had to have headphones with really good quality to go with them, and I spent weeks looking for the right pair. One day I was in the mall, looking around, and I saw some girl wearing a similar pair to these. I couldn't help but go and ask her where she got them, and she told me all over. So I spent the next week or so hunting them down, and when I found them, there were a handful of colors, so I couldn't go wrong! I thought they would be pricy, but I actually only paid about 35 for mine, maybe even less, all I know is that they were a steal! People ask me all the time about them, and want to listen to them. In an age of small headphones, these really rock the house for being so big, and I can't imagine not having them.

I use these headphones with just about anything; my computer, phone, ipod.  First off, they look great!  The colorful choices with hits of silver and white make them the most stylish headphones i've found to date.  The ear pads fully cover my ears which providers for better protection from miscellaneous background sounds.  They may not be as sound-proof as noise-cancelling headphones, but they are a lot better than earbud headphones.  They also fold up nicely into a compact shape that is easy to throw in a bag or purse for traveling places.  In addition, as with all skullcandy products, these headphones come with a lifetime warranty.  My first pair of these that I bought, I ended up getting stuck in an airplane headphone jack.  The little siliver peice at the end of the headphones got stuck and broke off.  I filled out a request on the skullcandy website and they sent me a new pair of headphones for free!  You can't beat that! The only thing I could see being a problem with these is them being too tight.  My head is small-average size, and these fit a tad on the tighter side of perfect.  If you have a larger head , these could be too tight for you.

Depending on where you go, you've probably seen these headphones... some places even sell them with free shirts... they are a great way to look fashionably ok, if you are looking to just walk down the street, and just be yourself... but, party wise, they only fit in for DJ wear... now... as far as you can throw them for durability... they are not too cheap, but they are like other headphones... if you take good care of your stuff, it will not break.... if you dont, then it's your fault for not caring...

These Skullcandy headphones have excellent sound while making it harder for those around you to hear the music you're listening to. I know that I have enjoyed listening to my music more now that I don't get comments from friends and family if I choose to listen to my MP3 player while I'm writing or drawing. Overall I have had very few issues with them and I am now on my second pair after my first fell apart from so much use. What I like about these more then other brands I have tried is that they're comfortable to wear if you're listening to something like a book on tape, but they're also not so bulky that you can't fold them up and put them away in your desk or backpack. The length of the cord is nice as well, because you can put your MP3 player in your pocket or backpack to walk around or to keep it close to you without worrying about keeping your head close to it. It can also be easy to get tangled up in because of this as well, but as long as your careful and make sure that it's not tangled when you put it away it works just fine.

While the Skullcandy name denotes a quality product, I would recommend using these particular headphones in a setting where there is no "exterior" noise.  They don't fit snugly enough over the ear to cancel out sounds in your surrounding environment. They're still a great value though, and this certainly didn't deter me from purchasing other Skullcandy products!!

I got these both out of brand loyalty (I previously had skullcandy inkd earbuds) and because they look so gosh-darned cool. Out of the packaging and onto my head, they fit well- the cushion on the earpieces is excellent and forms to your head very well (which helps with noise reduction). The initial sound quality is great, the highs are high and the lows are low - I'm a huge fan of bass in headphones, so this made me very happy. The loudness has a very thorough range, I never took it all the way up, but needless to say there were a few instances where I let these puppies dangle around my neck and work as personal speakers. The adjustment of these is very simple, and fit my head quite snugly- I never had them fall off unexpectedly.The biggest con is the plastic bits that hold the earpieces- they're a little flimsy. All it took was an accidental sitting to break one. This didn't hurt the quality, they're still very wearable and snazzy looking (superglue does wonders) But still, sixty bucks new (when they first came out) made me expect a more durable product.   That aside, with the range of colors and styles, sound quality, and general awesomeness of these- it's a definite reccomend. Just be careful where you land  your behind and you'll be fine.

Great sound at a good price.  Only wish they were wireless (would make it easier to work out with). Headband broke (split) after 2 months but skullcandy replaced immediately and have had no problems since.
