I went in search of better headphones/ ear bud style for my Sony MP3 player, as they had come w/ the other type of headphones ... you know the kind - heavy and are supposed to sit inside your ear and stay there. Well ... I have a VERY little head for an adult (size 6 13/16 hat) and as you might guess, regular type headphones don't work for me. I was in STAPLES, talking to a "tech" guy about my laptop and then we got on the subject of headphones. I said I need to kind that pop into your ear canal like a cork. He promptly brought me over to the Skullcandy rack, where they were, coincidentally, having a sale on them. He said they were the ONLY headphones he ever buys any more. Well .. being as the price was in my budget, I purchased a pair. WOW!!!! I'm an "oldster" in my mid-50's, who was not impressed by Koss headphones ever and had owned Sennheiser and/or Sony headphones (the "full" kind). Skullcandy ear buds are even BETTER than either of those. A musical experience you will NOT be disappointed in!! The construction appears to be very durable as well cuz I have had to use them traveling as well and they stand up to the challenge of plugging and unplugging and winding up to store!

I bought my sister, my 13yr old daughter and me a pair and that first week we ALL had broken head phones. We did take back mine cause my broke first, but the next pair broke a couple weeks later. I am not please withSkullcandy products at all! The sound quality is isn't that good, the durability will not last longer then a few weeks if you use them for working out or even walking. They are uncomfortable and if you turn to fast they fall out of ears. The wires come out of ear piece very easily and if that didn't happen yet, only one of the speakers will work. Skullcandy does have eye catching packages, fun colors and looks cool for preteens and teenagers. That is where they get you. They are made cheap and for the price, you might as well buy a little more expensive pair and save the time and extra money have to go to the store or ordering them on the web to replace them every few weeks. I also would not recommend them for anyone under the age 15.

I originally would purchase the cheapest ones I could find, but soon realized I was just wasting money. Skullcandy Dub Earbuds cost a little more than what I had been buying, but more than made up for that in quality of sound and endurance.

BOught these to replace my Ipod earbuds which I hated. They would not stay in my ears. These stay in slightly better but I use them when I workout. Once I get sweaty they tend to slide out. Otherwise they work pretty good. The sound is adequate for small buds.

skullcandy is know for their earphones. skullcandy dub earphones are "ight" these are some really good pros and cons about these earphones number one con is that they fall out of your ears alot. they **DO NOT** stay in your ears that well. a pro is that the are stylish and have great sound quality.another con is that they are a wee bit expensive. it matters where you get them overall i will give a 3 out of 5.

I bought these Skullcandy - Dub Earbuds for my 16 year old son to use. He seemed pleased at first but that didn't last very long. He said as soon as he started his music they seemed "tinny" and cheap. The sound quality just wasn't what we expected. These earbuds felt cheap as soon as they came out of the package and once he turned on his music he was disappointed. We tried changing the setting on his MP3 player but that didn't help. We even checked to see if there was a way to change something on the ear buds, nope. I would have returned them but I thought it would be nasty to take something back after it had been INSIDE his ears. I would never purchase used earbuds, so I wouldn't return these. Sooooooo, we are stuck with this set evne though he doesn't like them. I wish I could remember the style of the other Skull Candy ear buds he liked, but I can't. So they DO make a better product, this is just not one of their best.

We just got these for Christmas presents for the kids and they are so happy with them and so am I. We bought them at staples for an excellent price and were so happy with the product. I can't believe how low the price was for such a quality product. My kids like the designs and are not embarrased to wear them in public. They let me hear their songs using skull candy buds and I couldn't believe the comfort and sound. They block out so much noise that listening is actually enjoyable and memorable. They pick up suddle sounds in songs that I didn't notice before. Every notice that some older songs swith speakers from left to right so the sound feels like it is rolling over your hear? Neither did I until I listened on head phones. They do not hurt your ears after wearing for a while either because they are rubbery and soft. They come in so many colors and match so many personalities that the kids don't fight over which ones are their's. They are sturdy too. We are happy with our purchase.

I purchased these Skullcandy Dub Earbuds back in December of 2010 to replace my old Ipod earbuds and I have been extremely happy with them.  The Good:  The Skullcandy Dub Earbuds are well designed and made from quality plastic parts.  They also look young and hip, and with the little skull design, the earbuds are on the cusp of coolness.  The earbuds come with 3 different sets of silicone gel earpieces to fit different ear canals.  I used the medium piece and it stays in my ears despite vigorous activity.  I use them on my morning jogs, while weight lifting, or sometimes, I will plug them into my laptop while playing games.  Sound quality is awesome with the 10 mm driver.  The mids and highs are nice and bright, not tinny like other earbuds on the market.  What is most impressive is the rich, tight bass that emanates from the buds.  I can feel my entire head vibrate when I play a particular song rich with bass, or when I blow something up in Starcraft 2 (probably not a good idea as this may cause me to go deaf).  The Skullcandy Dub Earbuds are also nicely priced as they are not too expensive, perhaps an indicator that college students are the primary target market for this product.  The Bad:  None that I can think of.  I guess the only thing that would make this better would be if the buds are wireless.  Other than that, a great product.  9 out of 10 from me.
