Our family went through several spout covers before finding this gem! It is an excellent item for anyone with babies or small children. Previously I went more for the inflatables for extra cushion for accidental bumps against the shower faucet spout, but once I found this molded plastic variety I was sold. The Skip Hop whale spout cover has an adjustable strap on the bottom, which can be tightened and loosened notch by notch on each side to create the perfect fit. The whales blow hole area accommodates spouts that have a pull-button diverter on the top. While a solid piece of molded plastic, the material is still soft enough to cushion a bump very well. We love this so much we have purchased two for the various baths we bathe our kids in. Again, not an inexpensive item, but worth every penny in our opinion. I often purchase the Skip Hop whale spout cover for friends who have new babies. It's a great and functional gift that will provide years of use, unlike inflatables which inevitably develop leaks rendering them useless after awhile.

The Skip Hop Moby Bath Spout is one of my favorite baby items I have purchased. I wanted something to cover the metal bath tub spout in our kid's bathroom but didn't want an eye sore for when guests came to visit. The cute whale is one of the best covers I have seen and I love that it works for little boys or girls. It is so cute that I don't really need to take it off when guests come over but if I wanted to it is so easy and even hangs by it's tail when not in use. The best part of this spout cover is that it has a hole in the top so that you can still use your shower tab! You don't have to remove it every time you need to take a shower, which is great for my older kids. I also love that the water is not coming out of the whales mouth, unlike some other animal covers. But I'm odd like that.

I bought this Skip Hop Moby Bath Spout Cover when my daughter started taking baths in the tub. It's a great way to protect your kids from bumping or banging into the hard metal spout and it seems like every kid wants to check out the spout and get close to it! My daughter loves how the water comes out of the whale. I loved that it was easy to put on, just slides in place and it has a fin to adjust it so it stays put. There is an opening for your shower knob to go up and down, so you can still take a shower with this in place. I was also glad it was BPA free and mold and mildew resistant. We haven't had any problems with mold or anything growing in it and we've been using it for over two years now. And it just looks cute on your bath spout!

When our child started pulling himself up to stand against the faucet in our bathtub, we envisioned him taking one stumble and knocking his head into it.  We aren't usually the types to do a lot of baby proofing, but after he had one bad encounter with the arm of a wooden chair that left him with a scar by his eyebrow, we weren't ready to let something similar happen again in the tub, especially since it can get so slippery in there.  We have many other Skip Hop products and have been very happy with all of them, so when we saw they made a spout cover, we knew it was what we were looking for.  As always, Skip Hop has taken something as simple as a faucet cover and made it just adorable.  It has got to be the best looking one on the market, and for parents that try to tone down the "kiddie" stuff in their house, that is important.  But most importantly, it's so easy to use and has kept our son from injuring himself with his inevitable slips in the tub.  We are also mindful of having safe plastics in the house, and this Moby cover is BPA/pthalate free as well.  A great safety item for any bathtub!

The Skip Hop Moby spout cover is great for small kids.  It is durable and stays on the faucet even when little hands are grabbing it.  When my kids were small they used the faucet to pull themselves up, and the cover stayed on great.  My kids who are teething like to chew on the faucet cover since it is eye catching and feels good on their gums.  My biggest problem with this is that the cover has black spots around the opening where it is starting to mold.  We have had it almost a year and I clean it frequently, but I amy replace it soon if the mold won't come completly off.

We wanted a bath spout cover that would be easy on/off for adults but not kids. So far this has fit the bill for our 11 month old.  It completly covers the spout's dangerous sharp corners. This is just what we were looking for. It wasn't too expensive, it is cute w/ out being annoying, and best of all it helps keeps our kid safe in the tub.

Anyone who has a small toddler in their home knows that it is always a concern that the toddler will bump their head on the faucet spout and hurt themselves pretty bad.  I have used other products in the past - including a yellow duckie type of cover.  When I looked for a cover for my granddaughter - I came across the Skip Hop Moby Bath Spout Cover and decided to buy it.  It works just the way I expected and its blue color reminds me of the sea.  No more worries for grandma and my granddaughter loves it too.

I use this bath spout cover in my child's bathroom to cover the sharp edged bath spout.  This little whale makes the bath fun!  It is easy to install and remove and has saved my daughter from several possible cuts as a result of falls in the bath.  Highly recommend this product - no parent should be without it!

I thought this was such a cute product.  It attaches easily and stays on.  If you know you want to purchase a spout cover, this one is great and looks adorable.  I'm a first time mom, so I thought I needed to get all kinds of safety things for my baby.  Turns out, I just don't think a spout cover is all that necessary.  My baby is 11 months old and we've been using this to give him a nightly bath since he was about 7 months.  So far, he has not come close to hitting his head against the spout.  He enjoys looking at the cute cover and will touch it sometimes, but he has other bath toys that would serve that purpose.  Maybe as kids get older they might tend to be more careless about the bath spout, but so far, this is just a decorative thing and not a safety thing.  I heard that other people had problems with mold or mildew growing in a spout cover and this has never been an issue for us with this cover.  Overall, this is cute, but it just doesn't seem like a necessary baby-proofing item.

The Skip hop moby spout cover is a great idea. It fits over the tub faucet so that little ones don't bump their heads on the hot or sharp faucet. A wonderful gift for a new mom at a baby shower or for anyone with small children. It is a safety feature and does not get in the way of when you want to use the bath tub or take a shower at any other time. It is cute and kids are attracted to the bright colors. I think it is a good value for the price and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something to make bathtime safer for their child or children, or to give as a gift to someone who has a young child or children. I have seen other tub spout covers which may also do the job, but they are not as cute and appealing to the little children. It is a very effective tool in making your child's bathtime enjoyable, fun and safe. I use on one every bath tub in my home for my grandchildren and have given them as gifts to my daughter and daughter-in-law for all of their bath tubs so my grandchildren will be safe in their own tubs, as well.
