We got the gym as a present for Christmas and our son is still a little young for it but he loves to look at all the animals.  He stays engaged with it for quite a while and I am looking forward to watching him grow into it.  It is very cute!  It has many different textures and colors - fuzziness, softness, crinkliness, etc.  The sheep will play a song, another animal crinkles, one has a shaker in it, etc.  We use it for him to look at on his back, for tummy-time, and I know that there are many many more uses for it.  It includes a small pillow.  While that is a hazard for small babies (SIDS), we are just very careful and watchful when he is on it.  It is nice to prop him up a little bit more than he normally is when he lays down.  The blanket it is on has lots of different things for him to play with and look at.   We have a very small room and house so the size of it is a bit annoying.  We have to take it down completely when we want to put it away.
