Get the box of Kleenex, and be ready.  This is not for the faint of heart, but will change you forever if you are strong enough! Animal rights, human greed, personal health are seamlessly (and very cleverly) intertwined. There are laugh-out-loud moments, but be advised that the language… read full review »

As Randy Jackson from American Idol would say "it was awwwright for me, dog!" — All kidding aside, Skinny Bitch is a fairly interesting read. — Skinny Bitch is a book about how to become a skinny. They claim that men and women constantly complain about how they look and their weight.… read full review »

This book blew my mind.  I couldn't read it fast enough.  I've always been health-conscious, but after reading this I feel like I finally had a clear path to a cleaner body. — Within a week of finishing this book, I'd made a complete 180 of my diet, which was shockingly easy and satisfying, and had lost 2.5 lbs of those last 10 that wouldn't come off from baby. — The language may be offensive to some, but it is meant to shock the reader into paying attention.  The writers themselves have said as much and have also made it clear that the title of the book is also… read full review »

This book has been getting a lot of talk lately. I decided to check it out and borrowed a copy from a co-worker. Now, I'm not overweight or looking for a diet, but I have pretty bad eating habits, so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about. — — In general, this book did not disappoint, but it's not stellar either. It's written in a rather clever, maybe even manipulative way, to draw you in and arrive at the authors' controversial dieting conclusion: vegan-ism. It's edgy, it's fun, it can be crass, but it DOES offer some healthy advice. — — But at the same… read full review »

This book was good, really good. After reading it, I realize how bad could be the regular milk, so I started having soy milk (which is amazing... mmmm yummy!!)... I've tried the almond milk, coconut milk and all of them are just great, believe me. — — I know the authors, two women... model and doctor, they're rude sometimes (with their language and the way they say the things), but hey it works... They just want to tell you the truth about all this bad things about food, sugar, milk, etc. — — I'm not vegetarian, I just don't like the beef meat... And well this book… read full review »

Very funny book by women who have been around long enough to offer decent advice but not so long they are totally jaded in their opinions. These women are able to just say it like it is and in a way that makes you laugh a bit but also learn something. You will feel motivated to lose a few pounds and enjoy it at the same time.… read full review »

This book has changed me completely. I love how fun it is to read. I love the language in it because it makes it more real. Down to earth book and tells you like it is while informing you of things that shock you! I'm so glad I read this book. I've changed my habits to conform and I've lost 15 lbs so far and keep going. —… read full review »
