I love to give myself a home pedicure each week. I'm always on my feet and running around which results in tired, dry, and cracked skin. The first step in my foot-pampering routine is a good soak in hot water. My favorite foot-soak product is Skindecent Tootsie Tinglers.
These little foot treats are small, pie-shaped green pieces. You are supposed to toss one into a small basin of warm water and let your feet soak for 10-15 minutes. Tootsie Tinglers contain cocoa butter to soften skin and peppermint and spearmint oils to invigorate tired feet. It also has baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to produce a lovely fizzing and bubbling action.
The first time I used this product, I used TWO pieces at once because I was using them in my bathtub rather than a small basin. I was afraid that one would be too diluted in that much water so I doubled my pleasure... which was entirely unnecessary. One Tootsie Tingler is more than enough for a shallow tub filled with warm water. It immediately fizzed, bubbled, and disintegrated to produce moisturizing, green, mint-scented water. My feet felt tingly and not just in the "invigorating minty" way. It was a wonderful sensation.
When you are finished with your soak, you can drain the tub (or dump your basin) and you'll notice that your feet feel slick and softened. I usually follow up a Tootsie Tingler with a thorough scrubbing, foot filing, and layer of thick foot cream. Sometimes, though, I just want a quick treat and don't have the time for a full pedicure. 10 minutes with a Tootsie Tinglier does the trick!
A bag of 6 pieces costs $5.45 which is less than a dollar per soak. I love Skindecent Tootsie Tinglers and am more than happy to spend that amount on the product. I've tried many foot soaks (salts, powders, etc) in the past and this stuff is the best I've ever used.
