Quick View: Imagine, if you will, a candle that melts into luscious massage oil for a warm (possibly very HOT!), romantic massage. Now don't imagine it, buy it from Skindecent.com.
About Skindecent.com Massage Candles (20hr)
Skindecent.com is a Canadian one woman website dedicated to the best care products around. Recently, Marliss (the owner) discovered that her massage bars also make great candles. She melded the two to make massage candles. These wonderful candles are lit and, soon, the fragranced massage bar ingredients start to melt. With the enclosed scoop, you dip into the warm oil and take some out, massaging your partner or having your partner massage you. There are almost 100 fragrances to choose from so pick one you both like and let the games begin. Not only is the candle romantic, the oil is great for your skin. I use the solid massage bars constantly and they melt wonderfully into my skin. This gives a great - and hydrating - massage that isn't overly greasy and messy. The candle will burn for 20 hours but you only need it lit for 10-20 minutes to get enough of the oil melted for even a full body massage.
These candles aren't home fragrance candles although, I suppose you could waste a romantic idea (and great ingredients) on fragrance for the home. They are more for a romantic massage that is totally different from the usual and very sexy, if I do say so myself. The oils never really get burning hot, just nice and warm, and they absorb well into the skin. It's such an indulgent, romantic idea and a candle only costs $7.27. You can also melt the candle and apply the oil on yourself - on dry areas or anywhere that you normally would apply a massage bar or hydrating cream. It's more fun with two people involved though.
My Viewpoint
I love the idea behind Skindecent.com Massage Candles (20hr) and I love the ingredients, which are the same as in the massage bars that look like candy bars and melt like a dream. I bought a couple of candles in scents I knew my husband would like and he was shocked at first that I wanted him to put wax on me. lol. Men are so behind the times. Let's just say, after more than 20 years of marriage, this candle lit our fires! Haha. 5 stars for that alone. Thanks, Marliss! ;)
