Skindecent Bermuda Beach Smoother Body Scrub Review

I love all the hand made products from Skindecent.com (see review) and will work my way through reviewing the many, many bath and body products I own from this small, one woman website in Canada.

Skindecent Bermuda Beach Smoother has been a favorite scrub of mine for quite a while. It's amazingly scrubby, heavenly scented, and leaves my skin polished, not stripped.

This scrub is hand made per order with all natural ingredients. You can choose from over 100 scents from bold to light and even unscented (but please don't! The scent is one of the best features of this scrub).

There are several oils and butters in the scrub yet, amazingly, it doesn't leave my skin greasy or slick when rinsed off. It is white and has the consistency of wet sand.

I use Skindecent's solid soap (in a tub) to cleanse, then scoop out a fair amount of the Bermuda Beach Smoother. It's thick and grainy and holds together rather than feeling dry.

I use this all over my body, even my feet, and then rinse off. The scrub is amazingly fragrant on my skin and in the shower. My favorite part of my showers is inhaling whatever scent I happen to be in the mood for and this scrub, in whatever scent I choose, fills my senses and calms my mind.

When I rinse off, there is no oily residue but my skin is quite smooth and soft. The scent remains on my skin when I am dried off but not too heavily. I always follow up with the same or a complimentary Skindecent body butter or massage bar.

I have dry skin in the winter and could get away with not using moisturizer after using this scrub but don't. I like to be drenched in moisture, not to mention fragrance.

The scrub lasts quite a while. I use it with reckless abandon because I have so much of it but you really only need a couple of dips into the wide mouthed jar to cover your body and get glowing skin.

I have jars of this scrub all over the place. It's like a game for me to pick my scent of the day. The scrub is suitably scrubby to polish and exfoliate my skin but it doesn't strip it and leave it dry. My skin is soft and dewy when I am done showering.

The scents cannot be beat and the natural ingredients are a plus.

I love it and recommend it to all - even men. There are some men's scents available and some unisex ones for the whole family.
