I am loving my SkeCrocs, er, Crochers, er these shoes!

a lover of comfortable, trendy shoes, into trying new things, an avid online shopper, very happy with this product, the owner of dozens of pairs of shoes

Quick View: Finally, someone has jumped on the Crocs bandwagon and came up with shoes for the whole family using the lightweight, waterproof, odor resistant resin material to make cute styles that aren't as "clunky" as regular Crocs. That company is my beloved Skechers. The shoes I am reviewing are absolutely adorable and they're just as comfy and easy to care for as Crocs.

About Skechers Cali Gear Calies Mary Janes

The Cali Gear line has many styles all made from the same materials. They're bright, light, and super cute. They have a full line for men, women, and kids. I bought two styles. The first was a pair of Skechers Cali Gear Calies Mary Janes (Style 36610) . I love Skechers for casual wear but at times, they tend to be somewhat heavy on my feet. Not so with these shoes. They're feather light!

The Cali Mary Jane is very similar to the Skecher Bikers and Sightsee lines which feature a criss cross strap with Velcro so the laces don't get into the spokes of a bike. However, instead of leather and rubber, these shoes are made from closed cell foam and have ventilation holes where you can add "Cali Bits" - little decorative buttons that fit in the holes. Cute, but I like my shoes sans the bits.

The shoe is super comfortable. I barely know I have them on because they are so light yet they do absorb shock and have a great nonslip sole with deep indents to keep me from slipping in wet or other slippery environments. According to Skechers, these and all Cali shoes are:

I love them! They're really cute and can be worn with a variety of clothing. They are comfortable and durable and very trendy. They really are the perfect summertime shoe. These shoes run true to size unlike some other Skecher lines that run slightly bigger. They cost about $30.00 but I got mine for about $23.00 because Skechers is always sending me coupons which then automatically make me go to the site and buy their stuff.

They are well worth the cost. I bought white but now I am thinking of buying another color --- or two. I like this style the best. I also have Skechers Beachbabes - Alyssa's which are made from the same material but are open toed high sandals. Review coming!

If you like Crocs but think they are kind of wide and clunky, check out Skechers' Cali line. They are reasonably priced and super comfy. Wipe them clean, get them wet, whatever! They still look great!

My Viewpoint

I love my Skechers Cali Gear Calies Mary Janes! They're so light on my feet and so cute! I like the price too! These shoes are cool with their ventilation holes and can be worn anywhere. We have a little marina and I am always getting my shoes wet accidentally when I am there. Now I can and not worry about them being ruined. And I can wear these for any casual activity and they look trendy. Yay for Skechers stealing Crocs' material and putting their own spin on these shoes. 5 stars!

Good review and thanks for including the photos. I want to try a pair on. Do they come in half sizes? Do they run on the narrow side? What stores off-line have them also?
