No laces to get into your spokes but they look like golf shoes.

Pros

no laces to get in the way, well made, good for sports, trendy, color combinations

Cons
not as good looking as others, elastic straps are kind of ugly, good only for low impact sports, reminds me of golf shoes

I own several pairs of Skechers. I like their funky styles and they're quite trendy.

One pair I own are the Skechers Biker Spokes Sneakers. These sneakers are slip on style with elastic straps that criss cross over the instep and secure with velcro. Made originally for bikers to keep shoelaces out of the wheel spokes, these have made their way onto the street and into the closets of people who never rode a bike in the lives!

I like mine but not as much as other styles of Sketchers. The pair I have are black and white and look somewhat like golf or bowling shoes. They are leather and made well and the elastic straps do secure well. I have not had one "pop" and become undone.

The foot bed has a nice arch and they are comfortable. My issue is with the style. I sort of feel like I am wearing little kid shoes when I wear my Skechers Biker Spokes Sneakers. I have many other styles that don't have laces but these, with their elastic bands, just don't do it for me.

However, they are definitely comfortable, durable, and great for activities where shoelaces would get in the way. Biking is the obvious best use for these sneakers but just about any activity will benefit from not having to worry about shoelaces becoming undone.

Although I do wear these now and then, I definitely enjoy my other Sketchers more. I paid around $55.00 for these on sale which isn't a rip off. They are worth the cost. I think if I had gotten another color combination, I would have liked these better. But I can't get over the bowling shoe/golf shoe feeling when I wear them.

Conclusion

These shoes run slightly large so, if you are between sizes, go down one half of a size.

Skechers Biker Spokes Sneakers are durable, trendy sneakers that are great for biking and other activities. They aren't good running shoes because they aren't cushioned enough but, for lower impact activities, they're fine. As far as looks go, some color combos are nice but, in all, I am not overly fond of the look.

I wear mine but I prefer one of my several other pair of trendy Skechers for their better looks.

I give the Skechers Biker Spokes Sneakers 3 stars. There is nothing at all wrong with these. I just think they are a bit unattractive and they don't have any overwhelmingly good qualities to make up for that. But, for bikers and the like, these certainly will hold up and keep you safe because they have no shoelaces to get in the spokes or to trip you up.
