About the show: This show was originally aired on HBO. It has been nominated several times for high ranking awards and won many of them. The cast has an amazing cast including Peter Krause, Freddy Rodriguez, Lauren Ambrose, Rachel Griffiths and Frances Conroy.
The show is about a family who is in the mortuary business and about all the problems and celebrations, but mainly problems. Every episode starts with someone dying and from there it goes through the process of going to a funeral home and making all the arrangement through to the viewing. In the show the dead people appear and talk to the family members and the workers like it's completely normal, and there frequently there are second realities that pop up (day dreams made very real).
My Opinion: This show may seem a little out there to some, but it is the greatest show ever in my opinion. The beginning title credits alone is curious, different and strangely beautiful than any I have seen. It's really a show that people can relate to because nothing is perfect, and it depicts real life every day problems and happenings. Throughout the series there is a great character relation and development. This series is gripping and leaves you wanting more. A good tip is to buy the whole series and watch it all at once.
