While shopping in Pet Supermarket a few weeks ago for usual stash of dog food I came upon Sittin Pretty Natural Dog Bakery Organic Natural Turkey Sticks an all natural treat featuring Turkey Breast, Turkey Giblets, Low Fat Turkey Broth, Turkey, yada, yada, yada.

Our Miniature Schnauzer, Brandy lives for her treats, and while she'll eat almost anything, she is especially drawn to high protein (animal protein treats such as these.

In the past we have given her dried chicken fillets. She loved them, however she would generally leave a mess of crumbs wherever she was eating them.

Sittin Pretty Natural Dog Bakery Organic Natural Turkey Sticks are shaped like sausages about 1/2 inch in diameter and about 4 inches long.

The Natural Turkey Sticks come in a tall clear plastic cylinder with a twist-on/off cap that keeps the contents in an airtight container. This is a good thing. If there's a drawback to these treats at all it's their smell. If there was need of proof that the olfactory senses of canines and humans differ Sittin Pretty's Treats would be all that was needed. A whiff of Turkey Treats drives Brandy wild with anticipation. I, on the other hand can't quite get the cap back on the cylinder quickly enough. We're talking about a very strong aroma! Individually however, these treats have no more odor than any other natural treat

At $9.99 for this 26 oz. package, these treats come at a reasonable price and seem to satisfy Brandy as few other treats do. I guess I'll just learn to live with their aroma.
