My Husband and I first discovered satellite radio almost 3 years ago.  My Husband, Rich, is a OTR (Over the Road) truck driver and hated that he had to find a new station to listen to every 1-2 hours.  And then Howard Stern moved to Sirius and that was that.  Rich wanted… read full review »

I had this for six months free in a car that I recently purchased and allowed it to expire without a second though. Generally, my taste in music is not very broad and I could not justify the monthly expense to listen to all of three channels that repeat a lot of content. Sirius might advertise its… read full review »

Two years ago I bought a Sirius Satellite Radio subscription and receiver for my boyfriend for Christmas.  He spends over two hours in the car each day and I thought he'd appreciate the variety of channels during his commute.  I was flipping through the channels in his car one day and stumbled across Radio Margaritaville--the Jimmy Buffett channel.  As a huge Parrothead, I was sold.  A whole channel devoted to Buffett-esque music? I had to have a receiver for myself! I got one a couple of months later for my birthday and have been a huge fan of this service ever… read full review »

This was a great idea to have this many different channels on one "radio".  You can find a channel for whatever mood you are in.  I usually use Super Shuffle on low when I am at work.  You can listen to all kinds of talk radio and all types of music.  The only really bad thing is that the signal goes out sometimes, especially when you're driving.  But you can just adjust the FM channel and it usually works out. —… read full review »

I recently purchased Sirius satellite radio for my husband's birthday.  What a great gift.  There are many different radio channels.  The family/kids channel and the pop/rock channel are a couple of my favorites.  The model I purchased shows the song and artist which is a great feature for us moms who are out of the loop sometimes.  Now I know the names to some of my favorite songs. — We are currently using Sirius through a boombox which I purchased with the satellite radio.  It was a little tricky at first.  We had a hard time getting a… read full review »

First of all you know what channel your listening to. You don't need a DJ to come on at the end of every song and say "Your Listening to the Big 80's". Sirius would be way better off if they just randomly played music and fired all the DJ's. Besides that point when you hear some of the same artists over and over again its obvious the DJ is playing their personnal taste in music. I tried complaining to their service department but didn't get a response back.I think I will just stick with my ipod and pick my own music and randomly play it. I believe the DJ's are the main cause for the stock… read full review »

I have had nothing but good experiences with Sirius Sattelite Radio.  From the programming to the customer service.   My husband and I signed on to Sirius 3 years ago now, and have never looked back.  Both of our units have broken down.  We called Sirius to let them know and after sending back our systems, they sent us both brand new radios, no questions asked.  They will also credit any down time we were not able to use are radio.  I could not recommend this company more.  … read full review »

I like my sirius radio, but I am not happy that it was soposed to be 100% commercial free and they are airing a lot of commercials that get annoying.  It does have a great variety of music so everyone can find something they like to listen to.  I love their broadway and classical selection when I am in the car with my baby, and the comedy is great when it is me and the hubby-to-be.  IF they would get rid of the commercials I would give em 5 stars hands down!  the radios and cheap and service is… read full review »

I used to have XM radio and I thought it was good.  Then I switched to Sirius Radio.  I have a unit that came with my Dodge Nitro and I hardly ever listen to the regular radio stations anymore.  I bought the status model for home and have it hooked up to the Directed unit and it is awesome.  I do have some satillite issues, but that is really few and far between.  This is definately worth the money espically if you love listening to different genres of music and being introduced to new… read full review »

I love Sirius. I was skeptical at first; thinking that I didn't need another bill every month. Wow, was I wrong. I pay under $20 a month and love it. It was a very easy to install with their instructions and easy to get connected. I have loads of channels and enjoy not having to listen to commercials. I can choose to listen to the news, music, talk shows, you name it, they've got it. I haven't had any receptions problems as some have experienced. This is a must for under the Christmas… read full review »

Spent way too long having to find new stations on road trips. Now you just set the station and enjoy the whole drive long. Plenty of choices-all types of music, sports, comedy-everything. Plus, when you're in the house or sitting on the deck, you can just unplug from you car and use it as a boombox. No commercials, and every type of entertainment, you just can't beat it. Only drawback is the… read full review »

From NPR, Howard Stern and a huge assortment of music, it is hard to impagine listing to regular radio again. In NYC there are a few brief interumptions of service while driving butalmost none compared to commercials which also interupt service. — Get the portable ones that you can carry in your pocket or attach to your car.  No need to be without it wherever you are. — … read full review »

Satellite will be the death of terrestrial radio as we know it, just as digital music will be the downfall of the musinc industry as we know it.  I can't live without Howard Stern and E Street Radio!  So many channels of great, commercial free music, plus the NFL, NBA, NCAA.  I'm not a NASCAR fan, but if you are, then what else do you… read full review »

Sirius Satellite is the best invention ever. I have been a subsriber for 7 years now. I will never, ever go back to terrestrial radio. The freedom Sirius allows is wonderful.
