I don't recommend this site to anyone.

I finally decided to become a featured member for 1 month two days ago and since then, I am not able to get on this site and no one can send me a message (something that should be able to be done once your pay for this). I contacted them and they were rude and said it was my internet site that was the problem. I then called my internet provider and was on the phone with them for 2 hours, doing everything they coulkd think of to see if the problem was with my computer and they said it wasn't and that it needed to be fixed with the technical support at Singlesnet. I then called back Singlesnet and they told me that I should go somewhere else and use a computer to see if their site came up. I did use another computer 18 miles from my house and the Singlesnet site still didn't come up. I just called them again and they still tell me that the problem is with my internet and there is nothing they can do. They were still rude. They say they are going to refund my money in 35 days, I guess we'll see if that happens. I would not recommend this site to anyone. Customer Service They are very rude. Features Once I paid and became a featured member, I wasn't able to get on this site.

found my best friend here

i found that if you read the profiles, you do get what your looking for.. Although, there are some great liars out there. I went through alot of ladies here, till i found the right one. She is honest, hard working, and beautiful. We've been together now 5 years, 2 of which are married. Ease of Use It is easy to use, but seriously folks, read the profiles. Get to know them before you venture out. I had 2 bad encounters that i remember.Yes, you do get alot of notifications and wink/flirts, not all generated by another dater. Features if folks would read the profiles, it would be alot easier to navagate the mine fields of this site. I simply mean, for instance, just reading what is written would be alot more helpful than looking at pics. I put, first line, that i don't date outside my race, but was bogged down by requests from ladies of another race. I also asked that if you didn't have a profile pic not to contact me, but here again i was bogged down. That said, one has to wonder if people merely look at the pics and jump, rather than read and see if they actually have anything in common with the intended person of interest.

I saw when I first signed on that this is a subsidiary (?) of match.com but REALLY! I'm thinking it is just the scum off the bottom of match.com. In 3 days I had over 500 winks/interests/notes in my singlesnet mailbox and, believe me, it WAS NOT a compliment! Reading the other reviews here it all makes sense now: there is NO matching system. You just get a notice when someone has viewed your profile, even if they had not intention of contact. I think they used my profile after I cancelled, too, b/c I got more notifications. Oh. And the one guy I met? Liar. Married. Charlie Sheen wannabe just hooking up and wanting sex. Just plain dirty ~ Ugh.

Singlesnet.com is a ripoff and a waste of your time and money!

I'd joined singlesnet.com and became a paying member for 1 month.  The site sends you a message saying that someone is interested in you every time your profile is viewed.  They profess to have 'matching technologies' that are used to notify of potential 'matches', however, in reality, if someone views your profile, they are automatically a 'match'.  The only decent thing about the site was their chat feature and the forums board (message board), but they removed those last month and it doesn't look like they will be back. I don't recommend you waste your money on this site.

Singlesnet.com..enter at your own risk!!!

I commented on Michangelo's (?) review of singlesnet.com so therefore, I decided to write my own seeing how I once was a member and made great friends. I am now dating a guy that I met on singlesnet.com and he is a nice guy. For me...I'm pretty picky!!! I recommend singlesnet.com for a brief visit if you go into their chat rooms because if you stay too long in the chat rooms they get boring and out of control. The people tend to start cursing and talking about sex all the time and that gets sickening, the way they talk!!! The site instructs you to report a person if they are out of control ( my own words) but they don't do anything and I feel it is because they want the people to become paying members and if they do boot someone it may give them a bad name...yeah right. Now for the site itself, it is good and there is wide option of people to meet. You have to be on your guard at all times though because there is a lot of players on the site that lie about everything. That isn't the sites fault!! They do offer free ways to communicate with someone you find interesting to a degree because as I said above they do want you to become a paying member. Over all, if you are interested in trying the site I say go for it. To each his own!!

Singlesnet.com logic is far too random to give real matches.

1

Sincerely tried for a few months to like the Singlesnet.com site because at first it seemed to have regular 'matches' but upon closer examination, none of them had any of the attributes I was in search of. I had profiles on many personals sites to check them out before subscribing and this one was by far the worst! According to their customer service, the logic is based on your date of birth and your selection of activities only. This means their system auto-generates matches that they say are 15 years under and over your actual age. This can't be accurate- at least for a woman in her mid 40's, because 99.9% of my matches were older, far older to the place where IF they even had a photo, they looked like they could almost be my father. The site has inherent flaws that can't be fixed for the simple reason they never ask for what you might want in a partner, so you can't outline that you wish to search, whether it be a certain age group, level of education, height or body type, you name it, there is no option.  Customer service also indicates it is based on what activities I had outlined in my profile. Well, I outlined all sorts of sports and activities that I engage in and there is NO WAY some of the men in matches sent my way would ever be physically able to participate in them, they probably only watch them on TV! When I contacted customer service about the lack of actual matches, they said to change my information in my profile, but what I had in my profile was accurate, so why would I want to change it? What would I change it to if I've already selected major activities to show physical fitness? Even when I changed my date of birth, they still sent profiles that were far off base from what I was in search of. As a person who is educated, works out, takes care of myself and extremely lucky enough to appear somewhat younger than my age, getting auto-generated 'matches' from overweight old men was a huge turn-off. I'm sure they are nice and all, but they're for someone else who matches them, not me! Then there are the true creepers who are actually on-line stalking the profiles of younger women, responding with interest on their own accord  -- who by the way, must have read my profile, which clearly stated I was looking for my age and younger and physically fit only! Yet they still sent interest notifications yet were often much older and in terrible physical condition! The level of 'ewww' was indescribable.  Certainly, I believe it's possible for someone to have just been luckily paired with their mate and more power to them, but Singlesnet.com is far to random in it's logic to really work for anyone who has even a few must-haves/deal breakers, and likely most of us do? Many other sites do offer this opportunity to customize and gave quite decent matches but it's annoying to get matches that you can't see or communicate with because the site's fees are so high and uncalled for that you aren't compelled to sign up. Personally, if you're out looking, I'd start out on Plenty Of Fish, (and to be honest, you'll probably stay there) where you can do detailed searching, block certain types of interests from contacting you plus it's entirely FREE to connect directly to someone you think matches. Even their paid, upgraded service is extremely affordable. BE CAREFUL, it is also full of dishonest people, stalkers, crazies and liars. Due diligence is mandatory on your part, make sure you are screening to the best of your ability. There are very dishonest people on paid sites, too. FYI, to be very clear, I am in no way associated with the Plenty of Fish site but can personally attest that I'm so impressed that I might just spend the $10 a month for the upgraded service purely because I think they deserve it for helping everyone find their match, and so FAIRLY! Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself, I wish someone had told me before I spent good money on any of the other sites. And, the Plenty of Fish search engine is THAT GOOD. You can weed out what you are and aren't looking for in detail and search to your heart's content. Best wishes in your search, hope this helped :)

Nice website, worth a try.

This website has two different levels of membership.  A free one that allows a member to send a "flirt" message to a member, whether they are a free member or have a paid membership.  A paid membership allows someone to send an e-mail via the website's mail server to another member, regardless of whether or not the other person is a free or paid member. Additionally, you can opt to have a free 30 day, money back trial period of the paid membership.   But, sometimes, i get profiles for the same women, despite having not contacted them in the past, and they don't meet my specific search requirements.

Singlesnet is possibly THE WORST site out there!

1

Sadly, one of the ways Singlesnet attempts to generate contacts (and paid memberships) is to send notices to you when someone merely glances at your profile and they make those notices seem as if some has deliberately expressed interest in you. No question, it's misleading and annoying as hell! In addition, every day they send you these damn "computer" matches that are not only worthless, you'll receive the same damn "matches" over and over again. Of course, they will NOT let you opt out of receiving them! Plus, you can't do searches beyond a few absurdly basic criteria. Also, they don't even require people to indicate their situation regarding smoking, drinking or kids! IF YOU'RE SMART, YOU'LL AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Lousy search capability, loads of scam profiles; don't use it.

2

Singlesnet.com has managed to generate some good marketing buzz, but don't be sucked in. I wondered if all the profiles were scams at first, but I did meet a nice woman from this site, unfortunately she lives in a neighboring state. So they are not all scam profiles. But there is about 10% obvious scam profiles, and probably some more that are not obvious. This is a poorly disigned site, with very poor search capabilities. You can only search by location and age. If you try the 30 day free trial, note that you must call them between 9 to 5 Eastern time to get a refund. This was hard for me to do due to my work hours; I called them exactly one month after signing up for a refund, but it was a month with 31 days. They offered a partial refund of the annual fee, of $65, but said I had to send in a self-addressed stamped envelope to get it. I did that, and have not recieved the refund 31 days later.  This site also emails you every time someone views your profile. This tries to create interest, when most users are casually browsing profiles. This site is a huge waste of time. Don't bother with the 30 day trial, you probably won't get your money back, unless you contest the charge with your credit card company immediately. Beware!!!!! Recently they started having ads that talk at you too. Really annoying.

SinglesNet is the worst online dating site!

1

I was a paying member of SinglesNet for 2 years, and recently allowed my subscription lapse. The site is nothing more than a big con-job, with a so-called "matching" system that clearly operates randomly, with no rational basis for the "matches" they pick for you. SinglesNet has no interest in anything but making money without providing a service of any value. It is, quite simply, an absolute rip-off!
