Singin' in the Rain 1952 —
There is nothing like a great movie to entertain you.This is nothing like a great movie.
I can not begin to describe how unutterably bad this movie is. It is a Hollywood self-referent, artificial life-support genre hack piece of musical comedy. If you want to watch Gene Kelly (why?), Debbie Fisher (why?), and Donald O'Conner (wasting his talent), in a piece of utter makework garbage, then this is the movie for you.
I saw it for free and I still wanted my money back. Or at least compensation for the irremediable brain damage it caused.
I give it five skunks.
