Singer Sewing Machine - Quantum Futura Computerized Sewing Machine - CE-200 Reviews

I could not wait to get this machine.  I have had it and worked with it for 7 months now and my husband wants me to throw it out the front door because he is tired of seeing me so frustrated.  It is a VERY tempramental machine.  I constantly get a "thread broken" message and the thread is not broken.  I have tried everything.  Sometimes it will embroider the different sections off alignment so it ruins the piece.  I have wasted so much  money trying to make this machine work.  Constant jamming of the bobbin, even though I am using the correct bobbin.  Singer customer service is horrible...

Do not buy the Futura CE-200, or 360 Embroidery sewing machine.  The drop in plastic bobbin case is the worst bobbin in the world.  It only as a tiny tin hook to keep it in place.   For sewing the needle can get jammed in the plastic bobbin case,  replaced cost $12.00.   If anything goes wrong, thread breaks,  it beeps and beeps and beeps. flashes lights  and all the setting change and it has to be turned off and you do not know what is wrong with it.  Not enough space under head of machine to change the foot or needles.

I purchased this machine with the last bonus from my company. I was so excited, but that did not last long. After 2 trips to the shop it still does not work. The bobbin jams, the thread breaks, then the timing gets messed up. Now Singer will not do anything for me. I cannot afford to fix it or to buy a new machine. As it is I have over $1000 wrapped up in this machine. Now it is just a very large paperweight. I would love to see a class action lawsuit started against Singer. There are more people out there that have had trouble with the first series of Futura machines. The bobbin case and timing...
