The SINGER© XL 6000 sewing and embroidery machine is truly the ultimate in sewing. Use the thread exchanger and embroider with continuous thread changes. Make borders with ease using the continuous hoop which is included. Instructions are now a pop up on the screen and much easier to find and understand. I've had my XL 6000 for 18 months now, and totally love it! The embroidery is beautiful, and it sews like a dream. I bought this machine to replace separate sewing and embroidery machines. I love the large embroidery field on the Singer, and the fact that it comes with 3 sizes of hoops, including one small enough to hoop hats and socks. It actually threads the needle, from the top of the machine through the eye of the needle, automatically. This machine gave me no trouble at all making Christmas presents for 18 people this season.  The only drawback was when I was trying to sew with a 300 weight fleece.  I was sewing a hat that required 3 layers to go through and that is difficult for any machine but I did it.  The trick was to go very slowly. —… read full review »
