Simply Orange —

My day can not start without a glass of juice.  My personal preference is orange, but just about any juice, that taste good will do.  This week, with my coupon in hand I tried Simply Orange, Original Orange Juice, which is a 100% pure squeezed orange juice available in 4 different varieties. It is produced in Apopka, Florida and is orange juice that has never been concentrated or sweetened. It is a product of the Minute Maid Division of The Coca Cola Company.

Simply Orange Orange Juicecomes in a plastic container and contains approximately 59 ounces equaling almost seven, 8 ounce servings.  The bottle is clear, and looks very much like the Tropicana Premium Orange Juice.  The price is approximately $3.19 per bottle.

Simply Orange Orange Juice Varieties:

  • Original, pulp free
  • Original, with Calcium
  • Country Stand, with pulp
  • Grove Made, with lots of pulp

Simply Orange Orange Juice Ingredients:  Fresh squeezed Orange juice, no preservatives, additives, or water.

My Viewpoint:  My Simply Orange Orange Juice 56 ounces container lasted less than 3 days.  The 13 year old and 3 year old arm wrestled for the last glass (not really, I think she snuck up and drank it in the middle of the night). It is very expensive, I believe for such a small bottle, which in a family of five does not last very long.  The ingredients are first class. The last time I tasted orange anything this fresh was years ago when I bought fresh oranges at at the market at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, CA. These were the kind of oranges that you peel and eat immediately where they curb your hunger, stop your sweet tooth, and taste oh so fresh and wonderful.  I started with a small glass to taste test, and ended wanting to drink the entire 56 ounces that evening, knowing that if the rest of my family got hold of this juice that it would disappear in moments.  It was fresh, tasting, pure heavenly oranges and everyone in the family loved it.  One serving contains the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C and it is certified by the American Heart Association.

Simply Orange Orange Juice is Simply Delicious.  And, if you can work it into your budget, worth every penny that you drink.

Hi, Lisa! I really loved your review and I'm glad that we both like this product. I think every juice out there now is prohibitively expensive. With the "Simply" things, I hunker down in the high grass and wait for Peapod to put them on sale for $2.50 a bottle, then I STRIKE! This stuff seems to last for a while in a fridge. Too bad they don't make gallon sizes at more economical prices for families.

Sounds good. I like the pulp but my husband and kids hate it so I usually buy them some that they like and me some with lots of pulp. I know they won't drink it. Ha! I will look for this brand next time.

I am thirsty now! I wonder if you could add water to stretch it out a bit and still have the great taste?
