We already have reviews of Simply Orange, Simply Lemonade, and Simply Limeade Juices on the ViewPoints site but the best of them all may be Simply Grapefruit which is one of the best juices I have ever tasted.  If I could award it ten stars, I would.

This juice is made entirely from 100% grapefruit juice and not from concentrate, which means that it contains no corn syrup or added sugar.  Also missing are potentially problematic dyes and preservatives.  In the words of a popular slogan, "There ain't nothing like the real thing, Baby!" and Simply Grapefruit is the real thing.  While it is pulp-free, the juice is opaque and flavorful without being too thick.

STATS:

Eight ounces of Simply Grapefruit is considered to be a single serving containing 90 calories with zero calories from fat.  There are zero each grams of total, saturated, and trans fat and also zero cholesterol, 10 mg. sodium, 300 mg. potassium, 21 grams total carbs, 18 grams sugars, and one lonely gram of protein.  Vitamins and minerals abound, including:  90% (D.V.) Vitamin C, 6% each Thiamin, Folate, Magnesium, and 2% each Niacin, Calcium, Riboflavin, and Vitamin B6.

TASTE TIP:

Serve icy cold and shake well before pouring.

You know, Ron, it's strange though -- even though they don't add sugar, the grapefruit juice isn't bitter and really is as sweet as I would want it. I heard somewhere that fresh grapefruits tend to be more bitter and need extra sugar because they are picked and shipped too soon, which doesn't happen with juice or other grapefruit products.

The only way I have grapefruit is cut in half with sugar on it...lol sorry but it is just too bitter for me....yep the Redneck is wimpy when it comes to bitter...;)

You know, Lisa -- I think it's a lot of fun when we each do reviews of a product. It's very interesting to see the different opinions. I really love the "Simply" juices though. I'm always interested in reading your reviews. Have a great day!

Actually Simply Orange was tried in my house this week and is on my list to review ... no peeking, but now I know I need to try the grapefruit also.
