My husband and I purchased this crib for our first son.  And we liked it so much we bought another for our second son.  It is a very sturdy crib.  And a great value for the money.  The first thing we liked about it was the way it looked.  It has a very simple, stylish design that isn't too "girly".  We also like the fact that it is solid oak.  We both like oak and with pine being so popular, this is hard to find.  We also like the fact that it is a stationary crib.  We both knew we didn't want the drop side, especially with all the recalls on many of them.  Even with me being on the shorter side (only 5'1"), this crib is very easy for me to get my kids in and out of.  It has at least a five position adjustment for the mattress.  The highest position is great because I can lay my newborn down without struggling over the edge, since I am on the shorter side.  And once my kids got bigger, even the lowest setting isn't a struggle because the kids are older at that point and I don't need to reach in to lay them down, they can do it themselves.  And the lowest setting is GREAT because it is VERY low.  My kids were/are not able to climb out on their own.  Of course there is the 4 in 1 feature that is wonderful.  We plan on never having to buy them another bed!
