Too many repairs

3

I have found this vacuum to be very efficient but have had numerous repairs on it. I do not use it on a daily basis & am definitely not hard on it. Find it unusual I have had so many repairs for various reasons. For that reason, I will probably not purchase another.

Hands down - best for high pile carpet

5

The Fetch model is truly awesome. With the move of the dial it adjusts from bare floors to high pile twisted loop carpet. I thought I was a Dyson die hard (have gone thru 2 & received my 3rd last week), but I couldn't even push it on my high pile carpet. It's going back. This Simplicity is the answer to my situation - having everything from hardwood & porcelain to high pile carpet. Pricey, but worth it.

Simplicity Gusto

I've been a Kirby user for years but I thought I wanted to try a canister. The lady at the local vacuum store pushed Simplicity, so I got one. What a mistake. It worked okay to begin with, then it started to just not power on. I've had this thing to the shop about 5 or 6 times during the past year and it's still under warranty. Each time they've replaced something different and the only electrical thing they haven't replaced is the motor itself, but each time I get it back, it dies on me again or doesn't power on at all. It doesn't even get used that often to begin with because I don't need to vacuum constantly. Nobody's home most of the time, we don't have pets or kids, nothing extreme that the vacuum couldn't handle. And the fact that they have replaced a different part every time means either they don't know how to fix it (hard to believe because they own several successful stores in our area) or that the whole vacuum is trash. Maybe a combination of both. Anyway there are vacuums with much better reputations out there that cost just as much. If you want to spend a lot of money on a vacuum, don't go with Simplicity.

Great Product Made in the USA!

Purchased the Simplicity Symmetry Premium Plus a year ago at a local Sew and Vac store. We had owned a Panasonic for 16 years and wanted to replace it with something similar to the style and quality. The Simplicity appeared to be the perfect fit. I did research on many different brands, and ended up purchasing the Simplicity. It has been a year now, and we have not been disappointed. Along with a 4 year warranty, they have a once a year free service where they replace all filters and clean the vac. I've read the negative reviews and am somewhat surprised. At this time I have no downside to the cleaner.

Long Lasting

5

I have owned a Simplicity 7 Series (7850) vacuum for at least 10 years and it is still going strong! It needs new cord now (puppies chewed it when younger and use is weakening those spots). I had considered purchasing a new vacuum but nothing has really impressed me and there is realy nothing wrong with my old Simplicity other than the worn cord. So, I am considering a new cord and a tune up/check up for my old reliable Simplicity. Oh, by the way, the Simplicity has vacuumed up after many, many Shelties and currently vacuums up after 4! Why would I want to get rid of something so great?????? Durability It has last 10+ years!

I am always amazed at how well this machine does my wall to wall, particularly the depth it cleans. Carpet stands up and sparkles when I'm done, it seems to get right down to the carpets backing, really wonderful. Maneuverability This is a big machine and handles as such. Ease of Maintenance I am able to change bags and filters easily, and I can clean all the machines workings without a problem. Suction Performance Excellent A+ Versatility Good hose, extension wand and heads for all type jobs Design American made, built to last a lifetime Durability Again American Made; the best!

Not what I was promised!

My husband and I took our Kirby in for repairs, when the owner showed us the Simplicity. The model at the store worked great, but the vacuum that we brought home was a different story. The suction is just ok, not any better than our Kirby, and the attachments are junk! To use the long pole with the broom attachment, there are 3 separate pieces, and they all come apart very easily. Trying to get under the bed or the couch, it is constantly coming apart at the different sections. Very frustrating! I really want to like it since it is American made, but the unit is making it very difficult for me to like it. So disappointed! Maneuverability It is a little difficult to manage, but it is lighter weight than my Kirby was. Ease of Maintenance I haven't had any maintenance on it yet, as I've only owned it for a short time. The bag was pretty easy to change. Suction Performance I am a little disappointed with the suction power. When demonstrated in the store, it did very well, but at home, I have to go over even the smallest pieces of debris over and over to pick it up. Versatility I like how easy it is to use the attachments, I just wish they would stay connected while using them.

Simplicity Vacuums Not Trendy, But Reliable!

4

We've had our Simplicity vacuum for over 13 years! It was pricey even back in those days. I remember my husband complaining we were spending too much on a vacuum. It has paid off over the years. While Simplicity vacuums don't have all the bells and whistles you see on newer vacuums today, they are totally dependable and very powerful. We have a long-haired dog that insists on being in the house 50% of the day. Needless to say, our Simplicity vacuum gets a work out. My only complaints are that is a little heavy to push, the attachments perhaps could have been designed a little better and lastly, that changing a bag, now seems a little antiquated. Still, the choice to purchase a Simplicity vacuum has been one that I have never regretted. Quality pays off in the end!

Simplicity Vacuum is the most powerfull I have ever used!

5

I have tried many vaccums over the years and the easiest to push and by far most powerfull has been the Simplicity X9. It has two motors, you can swtich one off to clean the hardwood floor and chase down cat air balls and switch the other motor on to lift the area rugs right off the floor!. The steel brush underneath really lifts up the carpet pile making the carpet look nearly new. You have to adjust the nozzle height though, or it is going to be harder to push.  I also like the metal parts and that it is made in America. It even has a standard 6 year warranty although I have not experienced any problems in the last year and a 1/2.I
