Simmons Beautyrest - Black Rosalyn Mattress Reviews

I finally went to the mattress store to buy a new bed after enjoying my previous bed for almost 20 years (well, the last few years it was definitely time for a new one!). I tried the Simmons Beautyrest Black Rosalyn and fell in love with the plush top. It was so comfortable yet supportive!  Beware, it doesn't last.

               I purchased a Simmons Black Beautyrest Hyacinth ult pl mattress in September,

     2008. It lasted 1 month as the side collapsed. It was inspected and replaced with the

    same model in November 2008, this mattress lasted 2 weeks before the same thing

we bought a BR rosalyn last december and needed a replacement in january from sagging!  the mattress was very comfortable BUT after just a few months sags and my side of the bed is so hard, my hip hurts when i sleep on my side and my back hurts in the morning.  we have called the company and they will hopefully replace it (again).  it is good to know that others are having the same problem!

this is very dissapointing quality for a top-of-the-line sleep product. 

I purchased a Simmonds Beauty rest a little over a year ago, it was one of the best investments I ever made. It has a ten year gurantee so if its damaged or anything should happen to it the company will replace it for me. My husband oversleeps almost every morning I have to keep nudging him and on his days off sleeps till noon. I had my sister and niece over to spend the christmas holidays and could not get them out of my bed. The best part of this is that it was really reasonably priced and the guys who came to diliver it assembled it for me at no extra cost. Gave me recomendations as to the care...

My husband and I purchased the Simmons Beautyrest Black Rosalyn mattress for $2500 in the summer.  We had it 10 days and the side of the bed popped out about 2 inches!  Immediately I went to the mattress store that we purchased it from, photos in hand, and complained.  They told me that I had to go directly to the manufacturer.  The representative at Simmons Beautyrest Black told me to go through the place that I purchased it from.  Eventually the mattress was exchanged for another from the mattress store.  A few months later I noticed the side of the bed was again popped out about 2 inches...

We bought the mattress because of the comfort and recommendation from the clerk.  In less then a year the pillow top had huge indents.  I called the store who sent out a representative who measured over 2 1/2 inch indents.  The store replaced the mattress after I again had to pay delivery and sales tax on the replacement.  It has been 5 months and the problem is happening all over again.  I have contacted the store again since it is still under warranty.  This is ridiculous considering this is not a inexpensive mattress.  My inexpensive mattress lasted at least 6 years! 

This mattress is great!! I used to have back problems when waking up in the morning, I literally could not bend over, but since sleeping on this mattress, I have not had any problems whatsoever!!
I miss it when I travel, I certainly have grown to appreciate the comfort and support!!!
