Simmons Beautyrest - Black Rosalyn Mattress —

I have had the Simmons Beauty rest for about 4 years. It was initially a good mattress but then started to sag. Me and my husband constantlly wake0up with back pain from the mattress. We have a peak and valley in our mattress. We called Simmons and there Customer service department stinks!!! Rep came out and told us tat the mattress is sagging, but there is nothing that he could do for us. We just went out and bought a sterns and foster set so hopefully we get a better nights sleep. I do not recommend this mattress unless you want to have back pains...

In response to tossing-turning's comment from Aug 19, 2009 at 2:08PM:

I bought a Simmons Beautyrest black queen sized mattress and foundation in 2008 and it is sagging in the middle. To rule out the foundation, I placed the mattress on the floor and it does the same thing. I wake up every morning with terrible back pain. Paid $2,300. I had a $500 mattress from Sealy that last me five years with no back problems. The warranty is useless because the mattress doesn't contain a + 2 inch sag when noone is on it. When you lay on it, after about an hour, there is well over a five inch sag.

I am very unhappy with this mattress. I wish it would be recalled - it's taken the shape of both my husband & myself but the sag isn't more than 2 inches to allow for a return--we have had it for 18 months. We would have been better off with a lighter mattress
that we could have flipped. This is our 3rd beautyrest & definitely the worst. It's also way too firm & I think it's hot. Because it was $3000 + we're going to live with it & pray for a recall--: (. By the way, what foundations are you talking about? We bought the box spring that goes with it.

CHECK THOSE OLD FOUNDATIONS, MOSTLY THATS THE CAUSE OF ALL YOUR PROPLEMS

I have a Simmon's Beautyrest. It started to sag about 7 months after we got it. It's like sleeping in a hammock. Wour head and feet are raised and your body sinks in. This was not a cheap mattress either. It's very painful and we often take turns sleeping in the guestroom - that mattress cost half as much and it's great (not a Simmons so that alone helps!)
Dont' buy a Simmons mattress - I've been in pain for years. We need to suckit up and just buy a new mattress. I'm so mad that they don't stand behind the product though.
