We have had this mattress for 3 years.  It was wonderful at first, but after about 1 year, it began to sink in the middle.  We compare our bed to sleeping in a bowl.  we are both in out early 30's and very active people.  However, we wake up with stiff backs and aches all over.  We recently stayed in a hotel and realized the difference when we woke up.  That is when we started trying to take the company up on the warranty.  It has a 10 yr warranty, but the company is making it very difficult (as this is "normal" wear).  We are still waiting for the final word, but it seems as if they are not planning on replacing it.  If I knew we would need to buy another mattress in 3 years, we would have spent less money to begin with.

This has been exactly our experience too. It was a heavenly mattress at first, but now has a permanent hammock effect where we sleep. Since it's a "no turn" mattress there's really no way to get away from the pockets that have developed. I'm not sure if it is the springs that are sagging or the pillow top that is compressed, but it is definitely not the comfortable mattress it was when new. This is too expensive a mattress to last for only a couple of years. We too will be investigating a warranty remedy.

Same problem for me. My wife and I actually tried 2 different Beautyrest Blacks: A Viola Plush and Orchid Luxury. Both sank in the middle after a month. The worst part is, sleeping in the valley pinches a nerve in my arm, so I wake up about once a night with horrible, burning pain until my arm wakes back up. This doesn't happen on any other bed - and I travel the world for work. I am 165 and my wife is 125 - we are not big people. We were so dismayed by all the comments about Simmons not honoring their warranty that we didn't even try. Say goodbye to your money and a good night's sleep if you buy this worthless POS.

My wife and I are having the same problem. This morning I got up with back spasms and finally decided to do something about it. Hope I can get a replacement!

My experience was that my BeautyRest Pillowtop also sank in the middle. I called Sleep Country and BeautyRest sent out someone who measured the sunken area and took photo's and I was able to get a new BeautyRest only firmer, it too is sinking in the middle. I weigh about 120 lbs. Keep after the store where you bought your mattress, and write to BeautyRest.
