Simmons BeautyRest Pillowtop Mattress Review

The  Beautyrest Pillowtop Bonita (Queen) developed a channel where I sleep within 2 weeks of purchase.  I am tall and average weight.  I went back to where I bought it but they did not offer a return or exchange.  ("Sorry about your problem".)  I recently talked with someone else who had the same experience with this mattress.  They lived it for 3 years before the indentation met the warranty requirments.  In addition, they had to pay to have someone come out and inspect the indentation (twice!) prior to the warranty being exercised.

I've had the mattress for 13 months and developed hip and shoulder pain 6 months ago.  This may or may not be related to the mattress but I haven't experienced this discomfort prior to this.  When I need a good nights sleep, I sleep on the couch.

I read the Consumer Reports article on how to buy a mattress.  (CU refuses to review as they say comfort is too subjective.)  However, following their advice will not prevent you from buying a mattress that will not hold up. 

This is a defective product.  Simmons would do themselves a favor by helping people get rid of these bad mattresses.

Very disappointed, tired and with a sore back.....
