We purchased a Simmons Beauty Rest Mattress 5 years ago in August 2004 from Gallery Furniture. I contacted Gallery for a copy of my receipt-of all the things I kept, for some unknown reason this receipt wasn't one of them. (which they were very nice to provide even 5 years after the purchase). We suffer from severe back pain after a "Beauty Rest" many nights. Simmons promotes a 10 YEAR WARRANTY. We contacted Simmons and they sent out the independent contractor (of which l had to contact numerous times) to conduct an analysis. Results were sent to Simmons, and they said it was normal wear (body indentations of 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches), therefore the warranty is not honored. You can look at the mattress and see sagging--how's that normal with 1825 nights left to sleep? Why would an individual spend $1400 on a mattress with a 10 year warranty only to turn around 5 years later to make a new purchase? No more Simmons products for me! I was hopeful to get a few dollars towards a new purchase with allowable depreciation cost. No such luck. After much research, it seems this is a common occurrence with Simmons products. In addition, Gallery Furniture is no longer a distributor of Simmons products. I am not surprised!
