I love the Similasan brand and use their eye drops all the time so I when I saw that they made a Sinus Relief Nasal Mist I decided to give it a try. I love that there are no side effects such as over drying since this isn't a medication that you swallow. It just targets where it needs to go and that's it. I also love that this has no scent to it. Sometimes nasal mists have unfortunate herbal scents to them that actually make the problem worse rather than better. This also isn't salty like a few nasal treatments that I've tried. Both of these things are huge bonuses. I actually wasn't particularly impressed with this though. It did alleviate the dry nose that I was experiencing during a particularly dry winter but it was not effective when I tried it later when I had allergies that following spring. If you're looking for just moisturizing of the nose then this is a good option but don't expect it to do much more than that.

Works really well for me!

I would probably categorize myself with mild to medium allergies, and this product works great for me.  I've read that it doesn't work completely for people with more severe allergies.  I usually start off by sneezing about 10 times in a row, then my nose starts running.  It takes a while for it to stop running, then my nose would get stuffed up.  Once I spray my nostrils with Similasan, it clears up my nose pretty well.  I like to use it more to clear my stuffy nose rather than to stop my runny nose.  I even use this product when I get sick with a cold and my nose gets stuffy.  I think a stuffy nose is worse because you feel like you can't breathe.  The good part about this medication is that you don't need a prescription for it, so it's very convenient for you to go get at a local drugstore.  I would definitely recommend it to those with mild to medium allergies as well as to everyone who gets a cold every now and then.  Definintely a very handy product to keep on hand.

Dislike rebound stuffiness? Try Similasan Sinus Relief.

I'm one of those people who rarely get full-blown sick during the winter time.  However, I seem to be prime fodder for the rhinovirus.  Runny and stuffy noses have become the norm once the temperature begins to drop, to the point that every time I talk to someone I get asked whether I'm coming down with something.  I finally broke down and tried Afrin nasal spray, which worked wonders at first.  And then came the rebound effect.  I went from feeling like I had cotton in my nose to feeling completely clear, followed a day later by the sensation that a cement truck had dumped its load into each nostril.  The Afrin hit the bottom of the waste basket quicker than you can say 'suffocation' and was replaced with Similasan.  Granted, I wasn't quite as thrilled with the initial effects of Similasan, but it cleared me up enough to breathe comfortably, and I never had to endure that rebound effect so common with other sinus sprays.  I'm looking at you Afrin.

It is a fairly affordable but not very effective medicine. Low side effect profile makes it more appealing to other people who suffer to multiple drug allergies. I had to start taking steroid nasal inhaler because similasan was not cutting it. I still had some runny nose and itchiness left as well as sensation of "stuffy head". My brother tried it as well and liked it better than I did, he uses it every day now and he swears by it. Another plus is that you do not need a prescription for this medicine, which saves you time and money. It does not have a specific taste or smell to it, I guess that's a good thing. I did not have any side effects-no skin irritation, in fact it helped a little with my nose itchiness, unfortunatly it did not releived it completely. Does not make you drowsy, you can safely drive with this medicine on board. There is no drug drug interaction to my knowledge anyways. Overall, not a bad choice for a mild case

Similasan Sinus Relief, relieves those night time suffocating.

I'm a disabled USAF Veteran.  I got exposed to some things that started serious sinus problems.  For years I've had trouble with sinus problems when awake.  But the absolute worse is at night, when you lie down.   I'd wake up feeling I was suffocating.   I'd tried a lot of products, all of which gav a "little" help in varying degrees.  I orginally tried Similasan Sinus Relief, because someone else bought it for me.  I really didn't expect much.   I woke up in my usual state of panic because I couldn't breath one summer night, grabbed the Similasan Sinus Relief on my night stand, used it and felt an almost instant opening of my sinus'.   Within minutes I could relax, breath and go back to sleep.  I've used it ever since.

Similasan Sinus Relief relieves my nightly congestion.

Similasan Healthy Relief Sinus Relief is a homeopathic nasal spray used to relieve congestion and sooth and moisturize your nose. Instead of using other sprays that may actually cause more congestion over a period of time upon continual use, this spray is a more natural way to assist in relieving your sinus issues. I tend have congestion in my nose right before bed, so I use this spray and can sleep through the night without any problems. The bottle indicates that it is for adults and children, including toddlers. It is easy to spray.

Similisan Sinus Relief: Homeopathic and Generally Effective

4

A tough case of congestion can really try your patience, but what can push your patience over the edge is waiting on congestion or allergy tablets to take effect. Nasal spray works the fastest and one possible spray to consider is **Similisan Sinus Relief Nasal Spray.** ** ** **Medicine Commentary:** Similisan Sinus Relief Nasal Spray is made with three active ingredients not usually found in the typical sinus spray: Kali bichromicum 6X to relieve sinus congestion, sinus pressure, and nasal dryness; Luffa operculata 6X to relieve runny nose, rhinitis, nasal dryness, and sinus congestion; and Sabadilla 6X to relieve sneezing, runny nose, itching, and rhinitis. Similisan Sinus Relief Nasal Spray is manufactured according to homeopathic principles and this will likely add to its appeal, especially to the organic and all- natural crowd. However, natural doesn't mean much if a product doesn't work but fortunately, this sinus spray product does have much going for it. For one thing, it doesn't burn the way some sinus sprays do. It is also reasonably effective at opening the sinuses and it even helps to get runny noses to stop flowing and itching to lessen. Similisan Sinus Relief Nasal Spray is safe to use as much as you like. There are no harsh chemicals in this product. You can aim and spray into each nostril as often as symptoms occur. It is non- habit forming and a safe product overall. **Bottom- Line Viewpoint:** Nasal sprays are sometimes necessary to break up a tough case of congestion. Similisan Sinus Relief Nasal Spray is kinder and gentler than other nasal sprays and it doesn't have quite the congestion fire power common with some sinus sprays. Still, the safety factor, the homeopathic formula, and the general effectiveness make this a product worth trying. Effectiveness Works fairly well at controlling congestion Ease of Use Just stick in each nostril and spray Immediacy Starts to wrok immediately
