After three months of nursing my daughter I got an infection in my breast and had to use formula.  I was very upset to switch to formula because I thought it would be horrible for my daughter.  It took five different formulas before she finally decided on Similac Sensitive.  Wow- it has been great and completely positive.  My daughter tolerates it well.  The only negative is that it trends to get very foamy when I mix it.  Considering this is a formula for fusiness and gas I would think it should not foam so easily.  My daughter does spit up occassionally, but I think it is just from a...

When I found out I was having my second son.Boy my mind was I hope his not sensitive to the normal  formula. So I thought it would be a good idea to breasfeed . BEING A FIRST TIME MOM I LISTENED TO THE DOCTORS AND NURSES AND WENT WITH THE SIMILIAC WITH IRON AND AFTER TWO WEEKS MY SON STARTED SPITTING UP AFTER EVERY BOTTLE AND AFTER SWITCHING TO SOY BASED FORMULA AND MY SON STILL SPITTING UP AFTER EVERY BOTTLE I TOOK MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS AND SWITCHED HIM  MYSELF TO THE SIMILIAC SENSITIVE AND IT WAS THE BEST MOVE THAT  I COULD HAVE DONE.  THIS WAS THE BEST FORMULA THAT HE WOULD TAKE AND HAD THE LESS AMOUNT OF SPITTING UP AFTER EATING.  I WOULD TELL ANYONE THAT IS HAVING A TUMMY PROBLEM WITH THEIR CHILD TO TRY THIS FORMULA.

this is a good formula, but the price is too much, and the advance with iron makes the bottles messy with powdery stuff and my baby doesnt like the advance it makes her fussy. enfamil and good start was for her.
