Most HelpfulI used this formula for my now seven month old baby since she was two months because we believed she was lactose intolerant and she did not have the typical digestion problems with this one that she had with other formulas ....no vomiting, spiting up, reflux, gas, constipation ect. But, as the months...
read full review »i believe that this formula works wonders. seriously my sister had her son in febuary of 2009 and her son was outrageously cranky. it was unbelievable to the point she had to take him to the pediatricians office where they had told her that it was because he had so much gas build up from all the lactose his formula was giving him. so my sister was trying all that she could to help him otherwise and that was going to the extreme and buying suppositories to make him go to the bathroom because he would go 3-4 days without a bowel and then she thought of switching to a more sensitive formula and tried...

Then someone told me to try a different formula. I never would have thought of that being that this was my first baby. My boyfriend and i took him to the pediatrian, she told us why he was crying so much it's because he was holding on to his gas and it was building up in his stomach making him very uncomfortable and upset. She told us to a organic formula, made from soy, needless to say that it didn't work. So we took him back to the pediatrian and this...

The interesting thing is that I have three other friends with infants that were experiencing the same thing. They all ended up on Similac Sensitive. I tried so many different types and brands (with my pediatricians approval first). It is not good to switch formulas too much. I recommend if you have trouble with the traditional formula to try the Similac Sensitive first. Now, the powder is a little too frothy, so I always used the ready made liquid, or the concentrated (add water)....

I decided to bottle feed my baby, even though I was told by many not to. My son Jaxon drank the formula that was given to him in the hospital with no problem. Within a week of being home, things changed. We went for our routine check-up a week after he was home and the doctor was not happy. He was not gaining weight. So I was forced to feed him even more and had to return to the doctor's office every other day until she was happy with his weight gain. It was quite difficult force feeding him and to top it off, he was getting extremely cranky after each bottle feeding. The screaming and crying was...

Currently I am working as a nanny with a special case child. The child was lacking brain development at the time of birth. However, as the child is growth, the physical, social/emotional, and cognitive development is on track with the child's age.
This child initially had breast milk, however was extremely colicky at night. Made the mom extremely tired. Working during the day and staying awake with the baby at night. Soon the mom switched to the Similac Sensitive Infant Formula (the liquid form) and the fussiness...

My doctor says he was colicy and would grow out of it at 3-4 months, but it broke my heart to see him so upset and bloated from the gas so I tried all kinds of formulas to help him out: Similac organic, Similac Isolmil, Enfamil Lacto-Free, Enfamil Gentlease, Enfamil Lipil, Similac Sensitive and Sensitive RS. The only one that worked is the Similac Sensitive in the orange container. Not sure why since my pediatrician says newborns aren't lactose intolerant,...

Finally after her doctor had switched us to the third formula, with no change in her discomfort, I suggessted the Similac Sensitive formula. Our doctor agreed and my precious angel was started that day on the new blend. Right away we could see a difference! Before she had been cranky, very gassy, refused bottles due to the pain she had felt, and spit up most of what she would comsume. Once the Similac sensitive worked it's magic all symptoms were gone! Just like that! Within a week she was...
