a woman, practical, savvy shopper, married, the barefoot contessa, will pay for quality, mama of the cutest baby!, a diaper changing mama!
When our daughter came home with us, she weighed in at a hefty 4 1/2 lbs. At the time we were having trouble with adequate weight gain....Our neonatologist asked us to mix the formula with pumped breastmilk for even greater calories. She packed on the pounds (for her) and enjoyed the formula. Unfortunetly we had to switch when she became unable to handle it. I would not view this as a problem with the Neosure, as we then tried EVERY commericaly available formula with no luck. We now are on a Rx only formula. I was very happy with the Neosure while we were using it. I would have continued if…

I gave birth to a 26 weeker. I did breastfeed (pumped milk) him for 8 1/2 months but we used Neosure to boost the nutrition and calories of the breastmilk. The Neosure was well tolerated, and helped him to gain weight. I dried up after 8 1/2 months of pumping so we switched him strictly to Neosure until he was 12 months corrected. The only con is the price but my answer is coupons! I got coupons on ebay, from friends, called the company, asked at the doctor's office and it was all well worth it. Don't skimp on your preemie's needs. Their tummy's…

very happy with this product, cash-strapped mom, married, practical, budget conscious
Similac Neosure was recommended by my preemie daughter's pediatrician as well as her hospital. It is the formula of choice for the NICU unit that my daughter was in for 2 months. It helped supplement breast milk when we were not able to be at the hospital. Neosure has helped her to gain weight and grow strong. A preemie needs extra nutrition than just what is in the regular term formula and she will stay on it for 9 months. She has never had any problems digesting this formula and she rarely spits it up. I would recommend Neosure for any preemie…

Mom of 2
This was great for my preemies (28 weekers) when we first came home from hospital, I was adding it to my breastmilk. After a couple months we had to switch when they became more constipated from it. It is very expensive but worth it for those first months home from the hospital. They gained weight and got the nutrients they needed to stay healthy and grow. Transitioned to Similac advance after Neosure. Sign up for coupons on their website to help with the…

My twins came early and my doctor reccomended this formula and an Enfamil formula for my preemies. My sons love the flavor of this formula over any other formula! They each have grown an ounce+ a day!; which is great to get them up to weight they would have been if they had been born on time. Also another benefit to buying the liquid vs powder is that the powder can breed a certain kind of bacteria that can be especially harmful to preemie's tummies. I love this…

I had triplets in Oct of 2007 and they have been on Neosure since birth. They have done exceptionally well on this formula. They were 6 weeks premature and very small. In just 4 months on this formula they have caught up on their weight and height and they are not very behind in motor skills. I believe this high calorie formula is one main reason for this. Thanks to Similac for this…

My son was a 24 weeker and Neosure has been the best formula for him. I tried the breastfeeding thing but I dried up so they switched him to this. He loves it and he doesn't spit up alot on it which is great. It's really not that expensive if you buy the ready made kind it's only $7 where I live and that's great because my husband and I are tight on cash. —…
