Similac Isomil Advanced Soy Based Formula Reviews

I started out with breast milk, then moved to the original iron regular milk based formula, but found out very quickly that my baby had problems with regular formula. He was constipated and had gas, and was generally fussy after eating his meals. I used Isomil soy based formula with my 2nd baby. I started out with a regular milk based formula from Similac, but found that my baby had problems with constipation, gas, and was generally fussy after eating his meals; he was even getting horrible diaper rash. I made the switch to soy formula after about a month, and I was really pleased. It took a few days for the results to really show through, but the change was amazing. When my son was born I wasn't able to breastfeed so we started him on formula and has A LOT of issued with him spitting up and acid reflux. He'd get horrible pains and after trying many different formula's - the one we stuck with was the Similac Isomil (It's a soy-based formula)  It almost completely fixed his acid reflux.  Then when my daughter was born 17 months later - she started having the same issues.  I switched back to the Similac Isomil and again - one happy baby.  There were times I tried switching to something on sale or changing it up a bit but it was always a big mistake. ...

I have young children and used formula with all three of them.  Two of them could not drink the dairy based formula.  I tried Good Start, Enfamil and other brands, but Similacs Isomil is what worked best for both of my babies that could not drink the dairy formula.  The packaging is great for the larger containers.  It has a place in the lid where it keeps the scoop so you don't have to dig around for it. The lid also opens like a trunk so less can spill out. I wish it was sold in larger quantities in more varieties of stores.  It can be expensive, but I wait till it goes on sale for $19.99...

I am a dad twice over and this formula was used with both my children. My youngest son born in january was a projectile puker. He threw up all over my face and beard and that was enough of a reason to try a different formula. Both me and my wife discissed it and decided to try similac isomil soy. It worked and to this day my son doesn't spit up anymore. Let me tell you it only took one time of him throwing up on me to change my mind. I highly recomend talking to your pedeatrition before making any changes in your babies diet but it was well woth it. Not only was me and my wife better for the decision...

Hi i'm a first time mommy who has chosen to breast feed , however as a substitute while learning to breastfeed the hospital had given me samples of  similac advance soy formula.

As the first time single mom, I had signed up with WIC and was able to always obtain help with getting similac advance soy formula. Never had tried to purchase anything else since this product was so very helpful for her little tummy. My daughter has hardly ever spit up. Who could beat the fact that is was healthy and extremley good for baby. Plus the added fact that it was less messy clothes!!!

my 8 month old daughter has been drinking similac isomil since she was 4 months. She was drinking similac advanced when she came home, but she just kept vomiting the bottle back up. Her pediatrician changed her to the isomil and she stopped throwing up, she kept her bottles down and now at 8 months she is a thriving and happy child. She has developed unbelievable and all her motor skills as far as crawling and babbling is starting up great. Preshis is now getting her first tooth in at the bottom.

A good formula for babies who are fussy and generally spit up. It was a blessing for my baby because I tried this out on the doctor's recommendation and it worked. The thing I don't like is that it forms lumps and takes time to dissolve which is a bit irritating when the baby is crying.

I used this as a substitute for milk formula because of known milk allergies in the family. Worked great. Kept the baby happy and on a good growth pattern. Easy to make and affordable.

Great for babies suffering alot of constipation and fussy from the harshier formula base brands. Great on delicate tummy's. I would really recomend.
