I have two beautiful children. When my daughter was born in 2004 i decided it would be best if i did not breast feed due to the fact that i smoked. I went for the Enfamil lipil with iron and she did great with it. Well when i got pregnant with my second child in 2007 i decided that i was again going to bottle feed him aswell. Well when my son was born in August of 2008 they gave him the same formula in the hospital. Well he started to spit up really bad so they changed his formula to the Isomil,or soy formula, thinking that he was lactose intolerant. Well he did pretty good with it for the first 2 weeks but then i noticed that my now 2 week old son was eating a 6-8 ounce bottle every 2-3 hours. I didnt know what to think of this but i knew this was not the way he was supposed to be eating. The soy formula may be good for some babies and i'm not saying dont use it for your child. All i'm saying is that try other formula's before resorting to soy because your baby may not be lactose intolerant he may just have a gentle stomach, like my son. Thank You for all your time.
