Similac Alimentum Hypoallergenic Formula Review

This Similac Alimentum formula works great if your child is or might be lactose intolerance as my son.  His tummy wouldn't tolerate any of the normal formulas that they went through at the hospital until they decided to try the Alimentum as one of the last resorts.  I have never had any issues with him vomiting or loose stools and he received the nutrition he needed while still keeping it down.  He seemed to really like it and it was a smooth transition to soy milk since the consistency is about the same.

The only two drawback that this is by far one of the most expensive formulas out there.  In either powder or liquid.  I would highly recommend shopping around to find the deals that are out there and contacting Similac to have them send you coupons as well.  Secondly, the smell is twice as pungent as the other formulas out there.  I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that it's a soy based formula instead of milk.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who's child is having issues with the regular formulas.
