Pros

easy to digest, made child happier, child didn't throw it up, worth the higher price, doesn't bubble like the others

Cons

price is high, stinks really bad going in and out

My daughter was born with a intolerance to breast milk, as were my other two, so we tried soy. She started throwing it up after about 2 weeks. She screamed all the time, she was never full, and always wanted a bottle. We checked with her doctor and she prescribed Similac Alimentum for lactose and protein intolerance. She thrived on that as good as another kid on regular formula. It smelled like rotten milk all the time but she did great on it. I would suggest any other parent whose child is spitting everything up to give it a try. It worked wonders with mine. She has now gotten over it and is on regular formula but we had to use it for 9 months. It is very expensive 26 dollars a can where we are but I would pay it again if I had to. WIC paid for it with a prescription.
