Silvermark Herb and Garden Snips Review

I picked up the Silvermark Herb and Garden Snips at Crate & Barrel at the beginning of May and I haven't put them down since. They are perfect for snipping fine herbs - such as rosemary, basil, and thyme - in my kitchen garden. The size is just right for my hand and I love the bright green color. I am planning on making a lot of recipes this summer using fresh-from-the-garden herbs and I know I will be reaching for these little herb snips quite a bit! They also have a unique feature - a built in herb-stripper - which strips the rosemary and thyme right off of the tough stems. I can obviously use my thumb, but I don't like to ruin my manicure. I also included a pair in a special gardening basket for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and she is enjoying them as well. Here is what I am planning on making this summer: flavored butter with fresh herbs (frozen until I am ready to use); fresh pesto with basil and parsley; egg-white omelets with fresh herbs; herbed bisquits and more! I found a photo on the web of the snips in a new fuchsia color, which I think is great!
