I enjoyed my stay at the Silver Legacy a lot. The desk staff were especially impressive. They were very friendly and cordial at check-in and check-out. In fact, I was lounging around the hotel after check-out and remembered I had left my cell-phone charger still plugged in in my room. The desk clerk... read full review »

The Silver Legacy was a disappointment to say the least. The beds are the most uncomfortable (hard as rocks) I had the displeasure of sleeping on, rather no sleep for 2 nights. The pillows are hard foam. The non-smoking floor in the non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. The white towels were grey... read full review »

The Silver Legacy is a beautiful hotel in Reno, NV; it's located in downtown Reno. They offer numerous dining options in addition to a really nice coffee shop with plenty of seating outside of the coffee shop. It's in walking distance to the other casinos on the strip and to the stores. Easy access back onto the freeway. I felt the room was smaller than what I'm use to with other hotels; however, it still was nicely decorated. The staff was wonderful, our first room had the odor of offensive smoke and we needed to change rooms. I contacted the front desk and the promptly had another room available... read full review »

The Silver Legacy Reno staff is friendly and helpful. All areas of hotel and casino are clean. The hotel room was comfortable, the bathroom very clean - no anticeptic smell. My only complaint would be the TV - I had to have a staff member come up to show us how to work the TV and remote. We could turn it on, but the instructions were unclear and incorrect as to how to get to a regular channel, etc. When I called the front desk, they sent someone up within 5 minutes. Parking is free and all elevators are very fast without the stomach dropping syndrome. Security is good - everyone going to a guest... read full review »

I enjoyed my stay at the Silver Legacy in Reno, the facility was very nice and clean plus it had access to many restaurants and is connected to the other casinos and resorts. The room I had was clean and confortable, I alos had a good view of the city. The only thing that disapointed me was that the pool was closed for maintenance and that had been one of the reasons I chosed that hotel. I wanted to spend some time at the pool. Plus I was also surprised that the fitness center was not included in the price of the hotel, we had to pay a fee to use the facility. Other than that I... read full review »

The Silver Legacy Resort and casino was a great choice for us. Excellent facilities - -clean room appointed nicely with a work space. We were thrilled with the walkway connections to the Circus Circus and Eldorado hotels. It was almost like getting three hotels for the price of one. A great assortment of restaurants fitting every budget. The absence of parking fees for hotel guests is definitely a plus. We also took advantage of some of the available day tours. A good way to see hhistoric points of interest. We would definitely recommend Reno and in particular, the Silver to folks who want... read full review »

I choose the Silver Legacy due to its proximity to an event I was attending. The good: clean room, lots of dining options, great room service, great check in, fair price and good location. The bad: shower handle fell off, and you could either be scalded or chilled during your shower -- no in between -- we were there for 3 nights and although we complained and asked for repair, it didn't happen, also, the pool was way too small for such a big hotel. The ugly: worn out beds that are hard on the sides and have a dent in the middle. Also, they gave us a free newspaper each morning except for... read full review »

This is an excellent property in all areas except customer service. Simply put the customer service does not rise to the level associated with the quality of the property. I did not get satisfactory assistance from the bell stand with regard to off property activities and especially dinning. They seemed to be unaware of all nearby resteraunts. I asked for something with a hometown flavor but was given no advice. yet i found several great spots by myself. I also was unable to get the Front desk housekeeping the bell stand or security to help me with an item left in my room. I called the same... read full review »

My aunt and I have stayed with Silver Legacy twice and each time it was beautiful, very clean and well kept, serve is always great, very professional, family orienated for all and the rooms were great too. We have now made it a yearly thing to always stay there and return for another good time.

Money Savers: Short Walk, If you want to buy gifts without going bankrupt, there are plenty of small shops out side the hotel. Far as food goes, they do have a Mc Donalds directly across the street for those of you who may be on a tight budget. And those of you who are looking for good healthy fresh food,...

The Silver Legacy is a comfortable place to stay. Having indoor access between two other hotels and casinos there is a great deal to do with a wide variety of entertainment. At the center of the casino area there are two lounges beneath and next to the "silver machine". This is a great landmark and a place to arrange to meet others. The rooms are acceptable, although, on the weekend, slightly higher in price than I am comfortable with. The restaurants are all good except where the oyster bar is located it is very chilly. I wanted to eat there but didn't because of the cold.

Entertainment: In Hotel,...

Centrally located in downtown Reno and connected with Circus-Circus and El Dorado, Silver Legacy offers a great casino-hotel to stay in. The lobby area is nice and swank. The Silver Mining theme is evident all around. The room was nice and comfortable with better-than-average toileteries, the missing coffee maker was a disappointment though. The room was on 23rd floor with good view of the hills (and the parking lot). Overall, Silver Legacy is a fine option in Reno and the only hotel-casino close to Vegas style grandeur. The room prices are a lil stiff compared to the competition

Dining: In...

I was in town for a National Convention and because of that I was in contact with many many comrades who were staying at other hotels. When I brought them over to Silver Legacy they said that there was no comparison. The hotel staff was very accomodating. I loved my room. I didn't need to leave the Hotel for anything other than my convention events. I want to return to Reno just to enjoy the Silver Legacy again. The staff was just wonderful. For 1 to 10 I would vote 11.

Entertainment: Short Walk, Instead of taking a taxi, you can get a weekly bus pass. Take advantage of the Legacy card for discounts...

The Silver Legacy was very friendly and comfortable as well. I was impressed with the security, as we were asked to show our room key everytime we went to the elevator from the lobby up to our room. The food was great, many selections on the menu of all types. The one and only let down of our romm, was there was no coffee maker, which I thought was odd, but I guess that's how they make more money on there room service. We were very satisfied!

Dining: Short Walk, Foods of every nationality were available at different casinos and mall. My wife loves Chiness food, and I could have my steak & potatoes....

The Silver Legacy rooms are spacious & comfortable. Two queen sized beds and two arm chairs were provided and cable television. There was a vanity area with sink, hair dryer, shampoos, conditioners & lotions provided, seperated for privacy from the tiled bathroom, equipped with an adjustable massage shower and tub. In the hallway was ample closet space with hangers, a suitcase stand and an ironing board with iron.

Nightlife: Short Walk, The hotel is located in the center of Reno within walking distance to all the major casinos and the U.S.B.C. Bowling Center where I was competing.

The Silver Legacy was a comfortable stay. The theme is very Victorian and my husband enjoyed that. The room in my opinion looked a little old but I guess luckily that blends in with the theme. The beds slept well and the shower had good water pressure. The location is ideal. And I have to brag about the concierge desk. They were a tremendous help to us all week. Giving us information, maps, and helpful hints.

Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, The location is ideal and within walking distance from numerous activities. Including museums, bars, and the must visit river walk.
