This is the best folding pruning saw I have used. I have to put in that caveat, because there are some drawbacks to folding saws. They tend to be shorter than regular saws, which leads in turn to two negatives. First, it means shorter stokes, which in turn means more strokes, and that's more work. Second, if you are used to a longer stroke, you will pull this saw out of the cut on the backstroke resulting in embarrassment and possibly a broken blade tip when you switch to the push stroke before you realize you're out of the kerf.
